@SyrenniaLestrange Mine too.That was actually a dreadful year for me in general. My Grandma died earlier that year. Then MJ died. Then my Grandpa had to go into the hospital, he almost died. Then my great uncle died and the day of his funeral my dad had a heart attack. Then carrying on into the next year my great aunt's (Grandma's sister) husband died and then not long after that my Grandpa's nice (mom's cousin) died. It was nuts. The worst part, I think I felt more upset about MJ dying.

@AMANDAtheAWESOMEone : I'm sorry to hear that! Yeah...I literally felt like a zombie. Nothing could cheer me up...my appetite was almost completely gone. I finally "snapped" out of it (and not really, even then) in mid-August and that's only because my sophomore year of college was beginning. As if people couldn't tell, I honestly felt like I'd lost a family member.

@SyrenniaLestrange I know what you mean.... I feel kind of bad because I sometimes think MJ's death upset me more than my own Granny's death. Maybe because my Granny's death wasn't so sudden and I might have had time to prepare. Because my sister and I knew it was going to happen, everyone did. People thought something was wrong with us because we weren't crying. Then MJ died and I didn't cry though. I just felt, lost... As if something was missing.

You know what I really like about this family? Watch starting at 4:45 , Notice how the brothers stood up from the table to greet the next person to come in the room? I LOVE THAT! I love the manners of this family.

@uranorexic when the group broke up many of the brothers went on randy made a group Marlon and Jermaine went on with solo careers so did m.j and Jackie so you know over the years some moved away got married had kids but however once a year the family gets together at Mrs. Jackson house for family day m.j use to speak of that day sometimes. p.s did you ever see the video 2300 Jackson street? that was recorded on family day

The end when the lawyer was speaking to them got me so angry. It's plain proof how ignorant and sadistic the press & media can be. To threaten the brothers just beause they weren't ready to perform is ludacris! And there is no specific time that's sufficient enough to grieve. Everyone grieves at their own pace and time, its just sad. Michael was their little brother, and a very significant part of their group, excuse them for caring. Sorry just had to vent! I love this family <3

they r filming right there! they have been! yes i would agree that the press is a b**** and normally yer if one says i cant perform i am still grieving, yes give them al the time they need. but them, they r pickin n choosing, no we dont want to do the the concert but yes we will film "the family dynasty." n i wud imagine it wud be easier to do the performance, go on stage do wat u have to do, rather than having the whole world come into your private life after your brother has died..

I totally agree...when Jackie talked about losing Michael I cried. I can't imagine the pain they were feeling and even today a year since they laid him to rest I'm sure that the pain is still there. It will never really go away.
