#1...he does not FAKE an injury...you cant tell me that the brutal cross check to the side of the neck did not hurt him. He was recuperating from that on the ice...and then the goalie pokes him with the stick...why? who knows. Barnaby gets up and gives snow what he deserves. That crosscheck to the side of the neck was worse than what barnaby did to the goalie...

Barnaby had his share of unsportsmanlike behavior throughout his career, but the blame here lies completely with Snow. The guy is down and being attended to by a trainer. You don't skate over to him and jab him with your stick. That's asking for it and Snow got pounded and rightfully so.
If any Sabre deserves to get ripped, rip their goalie that decided to rush the length of the ice and punch Snow while he was down.

why are people comparing barnaby to avery?.....avery is selfish and all about himself and his own camera time......barnaby has the respect of all his peers (Lindros is one of his good friends) and avery is hated by almost all of his former teammates....Barnaby never weighed over 200 pounds yet he fought every giant in the league, some more than once......he was too brave for his own good and it cost him.....let's all pretend that snow wasn't one of the shittiest and dirtiest goalies of all time

Barnaby had more heart than 80% of the NHL. I'd take him on my team any day. Despite his antics he still had alot of respect in the League. Unlike that puke Avery.
As for Garth Snow.. well he was an ECHL talent with a QMJHL brain. As for Hextall.. he would have gotten pumped too. I think he packed it in after getting throttled by Felix the Cat.
And if you think that the "Flyers" are not the dirtiest team in NHL history.. well you are wrong.

@jherikurl its tru my flyers were one of the dirtiest teams ever but they didn't start out that way. They decided after their first two forays into the playoff both against the blues ended in serious injuries and blood they decided that nobody would ever push them around. A few months later in the draft they drafted Dave Schultz and Dave Selkei.
