  • Great video...and great choice of music :)

  • I wish I had a library like this.

  • If he ever decides he doesn't want it anymore and just feels like giving it away, I wouldn't mind...

  • sorry! it posted before I saw the title of the piece was already written here.

    awesome film!!!!

  • Uh-maze-ing. I had perma-grin on my face! I was thrilled to see a Schonbek Jubilee as the center chandelier.

  • This is incredible in so may ways! Thanks for sharing a world of wonders!

  • It's the library from the League of Extraodinary Gentlemen!

  • It reminds me of the Burndy library which existed in Norwalk for many years till the owner passed away. His entire collection was later moved to MIT. It includes the largest collection of DaVinci related works in the world, as well as original editions from all the pioneers of electricity. The only other library of its kind is the Bakken Museum of Electricity in Life in Minneapolis founded by Medtronics.

  • Wow...how did you get the chance to see this? Do you know if there's any way someone could get access?

  • @CrazyRainbo Thank you for your comment. Mr. Walker asked me to make the movie because of previous documentary films I have made that were small, ran on YouTube, and gave audiences an emotional feeling about a place, person, or an idea. I think I did the library justice. From what I hear, so does he.

  • I've had the privilege of visiting this place, and it is one of most incredible intellectual experiences I have ever had. Jay is an incredible storyteller and his passion is contagious. I'm grateful for being given the opportunity to see it.

How did you get the chance?

  • @CrazyRainbo I won a stage prize at the TED 2008 Conference. It was an honor and a privilege and I hope that Jay finds a way to digitally preserve this library so he can truly share it with all the world.
