You are saying exactly what I think. I think the same way . I would not date some one with the SS or the Trait. Any child that I have is already gauranteed to have the trait. so atleast i can help prevent another child from having to live the full SS deases. I would like to stop this disease. If it means that i cut my blood line so be it. It was very hard for me to make it to where I am being a black male plus having health issues.

@discalis ..thats like saying, (hypotheticaly) My husband would be sick, I'm sick and the baby sick...who's gone take care of who?? But yeah, Smiles here too, Just trying to understand why anyone w/this would want to take that chance :~) But it's ok, it's about the KNOWLEDGE!
