They really aren't that similar musically... listen to solid gold and miss alissa, in comparison to the lost art and feel good hit of the summer. BIG difference. Queens is dirtier and darker, whilst EoDM are more YEAH! Lets have a good time!

But this song was written by Homme alone for Jesse, so hence probably a big Queens vibe in comparison to some of their other tracks.

Heck, listen to "Lullabies to Paralyze", then try listening to Eagles without hearing a difference, because I guarantee you will once you listen to that cd. They have SOME similarities (like his vocals, duh) but not really. Jesse is releasing another solo album, so I recommend fans of Eagles check it out :)

Do you notice anything? Everyone calls songs his favourites that remind of the previous two albums. As much as I love "Secret Plans", "High Voltage", "Prissy Prancin'" and "I'm Your Torpedo" myself, I'm somewhat disappointed that many songs on the album are ... clean and nice, well tamed in a way. Take "Now I'm a Fool" for example. I don't want them to become the next U2 or Bon Jovi. Keep being crazy, Eagles of Death Metal!
