@dooshdog its a caulking gun, it can be found at any tool store like lowes. Caulking is a glue like substance used to build howses and the caulking gun is used to push the glue out of the tube. Caulking guns cost around $3-$5

hey greekgadget you should manipulate the lighter ignition so it ignites when you pull the cork handle. the ignition mechanism is all done with electronics so this part should be easy, just extend the wiring to the corkgun handle and it should work. trust me, im also an innovator and ive done multiple projects using transistor and all that complicated crap lol.

I made one of these, it works great but whatever you do, dont use it if it's below 40 degrees farenheit. The gas will remain a liquid and build in the canister, causing it to explode when you light it.

@commando377 You can buy the zippo fuel at any tobacco store, and the lighters they literary don't sell the exact kind anymore. Look @ Chinese dollar stores. They have the correct lighters but they aren't multiflex so you might have to modify the design a bit if you want the same lighting system.

@cstarz32 Scuff up the caulking gun really good with sand paper, then hot glue the PVC pipe on. Scuffing it makes it hold a lot better and it should work : )

Great job with the assembly and great video. Some said it doesn't seem to shoot as far as your first version but most likely you were just standing closer to the camera that time. Really the only way to increase distance is to use more a more highly-compressed fuel tank, and most likely manufacturers tend to use the same compression.
