THE SHOWS were so unbelievable, even with the skinheads trying fuck it up. It was the first real hardcore/metal crossover record historically. THEN... the drugs got hold good and tight and they started falling apart. What a drag! HR could have been a rock ICON instead of just a Hardcore icon.
I think those of us who know and appriciate the amazing music they made see him as just that regardless. The influence he had on rock really ought not to be overlooked.

RnB also played to a back beat but usually sung and has issues similar to love, sadness(blues) i like some under ground rap but mostly listen to punk/hardcore. check out Immortal Technique hes a pretty badass rapper. and has lots of substance to his shit.

BAD BRAINS are HARDCORE, they are one of the pioneering bands of it, and its a shame of where it is today, kids had to ruin a beatuiful thing.

Metalcore is not bad as a genre but its true that most of young bands are pure crap.. I can't stand their "brutal" riffs repeated over and over again and duped "breakdowns". But dont worry, those kids will disappear while new fashion come.
