Is someone seriously talking about a lack of atmosphere in Isis? Are you kidding me? Isis is an amazing band, and they are chock full of atmosphere. Neurosis also happens to be an amazing band, with just as much atmosphere. Influences are pointless, opinions are pointless. So shut the fuck up. @stonebasse I did listen to it dude, and in my opinion, I can hear both those bands in this song. Instrumental sound like a celestial-era Isis, while the vocals sound like troy from mastodon. Now of course, that's just me. No one else (probably) will make that connection but yeah, some of us do come up with some random comparisons. As post-metal goes, it's different, but I can still hear little flashes of other bands in the sounds. Please respect my opinion and don't have a go, thank you.

Neurosis has been around since the 80s, Isis and Mastodon are its grandchildren, figuratively speaking.
