I much prefer this to Pogorelic 1980. Blechacz produces wonderful colors, organic lines, sounds lyric, soulful, and lucid and never hectic or smeared. My favorite young pianist!

@jm960 Rafal is my favorite young pianist too. I also recommend you to listen Alexander Lubyantsev, he is excellent. Regards.

Good, but not as good, colorful, or as crisp as Ivo Pogorelic in 1980 on this Etude.

Perhaps he put in 20000 hours of practice in front of the piano. Plus reflecting on his tonal colours, pedalling, rhythm and diction. Bravo!
