  • @RCHopalong how much you pay for that crib?

  • Is it that your spare room for your guests, I assume you will you be showing us the rest of your apartment.

  • I'm not knocking you,but DEAR GOD!!How can you stand not having any space??? I thank God everyday i don't have to live in a claustrophobic, rat infested, way too exspensive crap hole of a city.I live in N.C. in a lovely 3 bdrm.townhome for 600.00 per month, including the pool.I have peace of mind,a great community.I just can't stand New York!I hate HATE,city life. Each to his own.I have been offered to visit N.Y. before, and i just won't go.Anyway, good luck to you.

  • The bike is hung with one bike hook mounted into the ceiling. The only trick was to measure the distance from the wall to the center of the front wheel so the bike hangs with both tires on the wall. Use a magic eraser to wipe off any tread marks that get on the wall from the contact of the tires and your good to go. Hope that helps. Ryan

  • How did you hang you bike up? Great place by the way!

  • This and a gaming rig is y dream...

  • Dude I love your place

  • $2,100 for that place? Tell me you are joking. OMG

  • @943kline Its not size that matters it is the location of the ocean.

  • Very cute place

  • Nice little cozy place except for the kitchen. Maybe a stainless steel appliances instead of white would have look a little better.

  • This is really nice!!!

  • oh god I would hate to be poor and have to live in something that small

  • @pinkfairykid If you knew how high rent is in NYC, you'd know this guy probably isn't poor and is probably paying more for this place than we do for much larger places in other cities.

  • @pinkfairykid Today, that unit runs around 2,100 a month, easily more depending where it is in on the island. Please educate yourself on housing costs in NYC.

  • @avocadotalk I know newyork house prices I have bought 3 houses there!

  • What a nightmare, might as well call this a modern concentration camp. Why do people fall for the New York hype scam? When you get older, you'll realize that real life is outside the city life.

  • @Rw7451 I think it's all relative. I'm in the UK and lived right in the centre of London for almost 3 years. I outgrew it when I was about 24/25 and moved to the suburbs. I don't know if NYC is the same, but in London there was always so much going on 24/7, and I really miss that, you just don't get that in suburbs, but it's more practical moving out, you get so much more space for your money. I wouldn't say that "real life is outside the city" though, if anything there's more life inside it.

  • @Rw7451 My ass I lived in NYC for 16 years born and rised. My dad wanted a house so we moved to NJ summer 2009 its boring as fuck out here ! nothing to do nothing to see the pizza sucks ass and it just plan sucks !

  • @Rw7451 There's a lot of things to do here. I could get nearly any type of authentic cuisine, whenever I want. It's a highly diverse area and it feels like the world is always within your grasp. I live in the suburbs of Queens and not much goes on here but I have easy access to Manhattan and anytime I'm there, I'm amazed at the share amount of stores and eateries it has. I definitely believe the cost of living there is worth it, even if I personally wouldn't live there myself.

  • no bathroom?!

  • I like it how you keep it so clean and organized. Where was this located and what was the rent?

  • cleanest most simplistic studio apartment i've seen so far. awesome job.

  • its nice looking but it could be so much more organised. feels like the space isnt maximised at all.

  • do you have your own bathroom? or do you have to share one in a studio apartment?

  • @cdltpx $175 a month?! Wow, if only I never wanted to become an actor in the first place.NY is can be too much sometimes for a newcomer you know.

  • Yo man! that's pretty chillin

how much is that a month? btww thanks for the upload

I'm really hoping to move to NY real soon

  • damn i love it

  • very nice

  • awesome little place:) Good job, how much is rent range for that place if I may ask?

  • I feel like the dark colored walls kinda close off the already small place.. maybe hang some mirrors to make the place look bigger? it was a cute little place though! I liked it a lot (:

btw, for those who are wondering, the bathroom is right next to the front door, he doesn't show it, prob for privacy reasons.

  • Nicely done!!

  • Thats a nice little place, I've always wanted to live in NY, I'm going to some day.

  • thanks for posting, do you know where i can find a studio for $800 a month?

  • OMG!.....what a Horrible, DRONING voice............I have lost the will to live!

  • It looks comfortable! The only thing I seek in a house is a bath and normal toilet(not goddamn outsdie)

  • Very nice!!! Love it xo

I have purple sheets too! :-)

  • It is really organized and uncluttered for such a small space. Great place :)

  • Dude u need a Murphy bed and then u can make the living room bigger. Nice apartment ;)

  • how much was it, if you don't mind my asking?

  • I like your apartment

  • Would you mind if I ask what job you had while living here?

  • @crazyxdude714 - I worked for the City of New York.

  • wheres the bathroom?

  • um strange ? is there a bathroo,??????

  • love it

  • You dont need a home in NYC..NYC IS YOUR HOME Ha, just a clean bed and a clean place to stay and your set!

  • @Julian24151 thats right!

  • that cost 300 000 $??!! it's like 10m^2. damn NY is expensive. :S

I still want to move there though ;)

  • you've done a good job decorating. here's he weird one, the thought of living in a motorhome doesn't bother me much at all. bu the thought of living in that small a space makes my claustrophobia trip. :D still like i said, you've done well. if you've around 8' ceilings ever consider a loft bed? that'd open up the space underneath & if you pick the right loft bed, some of em have chest of drawer and bookshelves built in. just a thought. :D cheers!

  • @SpikesScarletWitch

I'm the same as you, Witch. My 200 year old house is no great shakes, but I also don't have people living on top of me...a thought that causes me to twitch.

  • Where do you go poopoo and peepee? hahahahaah

  • its small. but its a pretty nice apt. compared to other nyc studio apartments.

  • That not an apartment thats a closet haha

  • you should make the bed into a murphy bed so u can hide the bed and have more space for what you need it for. but it looks like a very nice tiny apt.

  • I wouldn't have a problem living there. Don't really need a bigger place. The fact that it's in NYC, on top of having a job, it's not like you'll be spending all the time in the world in your apartment. Perfect for basic needs and some entertainment for rainy days.

  • i love the plasma cluster

  • Studios are great - I live in one in downtown DC and, if properly decorated and furniture carefully chosen, it's the best place to be. Minimalism is the best--less time to clean and organize, more time for play.

  • no bathroom?

  • The best place to look is do a google search for "craigslist new york"

  • Hi I had a question. I'm moving to NYC in 2 months. I wanted to know what would be the best place to search for studio flats. I'm willing to spend upto $1500.

  • i loooooooove your studio, very organized ! :)

  • love it ! your soo organized ! :)

  • What this about 1700 or so a month?

  • ive been managing to stuff all my stuff (including an improvised kitchen area) in a tiny rented room. Going vertical is the only way.

Once I find a place as big as this Im not sure I'll know what to do with all the space!

  • lived in manhatten for 18 years, rent control was the only thing the protected lower income families. Nowadays its pretty much impossible to find a clean decent place thats affordable on a modest salary. I even moved to Philadelphia and renting a clean room here is more expensive than renting an apartment in the midwest.

  • Man! Your apartment is small as hell, but cute. You keep it nice and it is not a sh##hole apartment. It is just so small. How much do you pay in rent?

  • I'd rather shoot myself in the face than live in NYC! What is so attractive about that town?

Rents and housing prices on the East Coast are so jacked up. They're high in California but at least you don't have to live in a broom closet.

  • @MatxoMan you simply can't find the lifestyle of NYC anywhere else (and i don't mean suburbian queens or staten island, i mean living in the heart of NYC - manhattan). period. you won't believe how much people are willing to sacrifice for that lifestyle.

  • @retroguy02 Why can't you have the same lifestyle in Astoria if it's 5 minutes to Midtown by train? You can get a place 3 times as big for the same price, same lifestyle but MUCH better living conditions. People who say things like that are transplants who insist on living in the City and probably have not step foot in any other borough let alone lived there.

  • id go crazy in there lol

  • i wouldn't mind having a place like that. its VERY small, but perfect for a lazy person like me lol.

  • Where's the bathroom ?

Looks more like a room then a studio, but its a cool little place.

  • most of the studio arpartments in NYC are just a room...

  • @cmammlj the bath is behind the kitchen, to the right as soon as you walk in

  • @koolever3 , Thanks for responding. I love your apartment - its adorable ! :)

  • You can get a studio like that in Yorkville on the Upper East Side for $1400. Studios are cheap up there because of the recession. Still a rip off, if you ask me. You can get an apartment 3 times as big as this for that much in Astoria, Queens, 10 minutes from Midtown by train. Living in Manhattan is way overrated.

  • I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but in Manhattan. I'm 5 minutes from all transportation, museums, Central Park, shopping,

  • People complain all the time about living in studio apartments but honestly it's all yours and you don't have to share anything.

  • TSF64, I agree. No one to answer to when coming home.

  • @TheSportzfan64 i live really comfortable in my chicago studio which is basically et up identically to this same layout. past 25, i couldnt take roomates crap (gfs, short on rent, stinking up the place)

  • @TheSportzfan64 That's no different than a bigger place. It's still all yours, and you still don't have to share it with anyone. If i had a choice, i sure as hell wouldn't be living my my tinny little apartment. But it's all that i can afford, and on the plus side, the neighbors are nice, and it's home for what it's worth :-/

  • how much was/ is it if you don't mind.. you can send a message..

  • Ok I love his studio haha...I plan to move to NYC in a couple of months and I actually was there to check some studios in Brooklyn, my only concern is the closet space. Really tiny

  • cute

  • I would find it perfect except for one thing...where's your Fortress of Solitude? (the bathroom)

  • to save money in NY rent an apartment in Brooklyn a studio can go for 800 a month there some 1 bedroom as low as 900 a month you are not that far from manhattan at most half hour by train manhattan you would most likely pay 1000 a month for that place

  • honestly he probably pays 2000 just to live in there i bet its sooo expensive to live out here ugh

  • kute

  • Nice apartment by the way. If I ever moved to NYC I'd like something like that. I've lived in the country in Arkansas for years and it's starting to get old (I'm not from here though). It's funny how people complain about things being too small but really, what do you need? Unless you have a family all you need is a tiny place like this, even if you spend a lot of time there. In my bedroom I fit an HDTV, Xbox 360, PC, bed, dresser, and an upright piano, and it's smaller than this place.

  • @AnotherSchmoe PIANO how cuz i actually play and my room is bout the size of that Living room, bedroom and Kitchen...

  • why are you talking to us like we are retards lol

  • Because we are! Didn't you know? o_O

  • lol

  • id live there, i wouldn't spend any time in there, but id live there. what neighborhood

  • Adorable...........I could totally live there

    love it xoxo

  • dining table should be next to the closet. position the entertainment center between the bed and sofa on that same wall.

  • whats the rent?

  • I like it. I'm sure it's a little costly, being in NYC, but you get what you pay for. that's the most exciting place on earth.

  • And that over there's my Boat! Sounds like Forrest Gump

  • nice pad, i'm moving into one in 2 months and can't wait. love the blue paint, it's hard to find that. all the places i've looked at are bright and boring. (so far)

  • My favorite place I ever lived in was in Houston Tx. It was across from the pool had a neat patio door and rent was $175 a month. It was easy to pay for very clean and very neat. Your place is peaceful thats all that counts.

  • you have any tips for living in a studio apartment?

  • I need to get a TV for my studio apt

  • Very charming.... I like the built in closet and storage.

  • oo i like your jelly bean coffee table. where did you get it?

  • nice place

  • where is the bathroom?

  • hi,,how much for rent,...please..I like to rent one like yours.

  • That is TINNNNNNNNNNNNY!!! But like Tim Gun, you make it work! I love it. Nice and clean and looks like you have space to walk around! If it's just you, you don't need a ton of space because what is a home?

    A place to eat.

    A place to wash.

    A place to sleep.

Live is lived outside and you live in the greatest city in the world.

    Congrats.

  • this is a very nice apartment! i mean studio. i would love to get a place like this...

  • how much for rent?

  • Great Place!

  • u sound gay

  • It's like living in a hotel room. :[ I love NYC, but...

  • I believe the bathroom is on the right when he first comes in. It's on the opposite wall from the kitchen. At the end of the video you can see a door on what becomes the left of the frame.

  • Tip: turn off the auto stuff like auto focus, etc. when shooting indoors in low light and just gauge it manually.

  • wheres the toilet and shower?

  • how much a month?

  • jail cell

  • Wow I didn't expect it to be that small. I live in a studio (in the UK) but the main room is 220 square feet and has a large separate kitchen/diner and a small bathroom. I have never seen an apartment this small before, but I guess it is in NY so it must still be really expensive right?

  • I love your place, very cosy and cute, I know this place is expensive.

  • is that jerry seinfeld's bike? 0:11

  • hahaha

  • so nicely decorated =)

  • Are you GAY :(

  • I can't stand how you talk but I like your apartment

  • LMAO I was saying the same thing,, almost like hes singing

  • i would have to so paint alot of that a bright cream colour lol

  • Dear momi.,

    Even the television was Blue.

    cheers.

  • I like it, it's cozy :P

  • cute place! about how many square feet is it?

  • dear jack,

    one

    cheers.

  • The Upper East Side is NOT the priciest are to live in Manhattan, in fact it's one of the cheapest places to live. Soho and the Village are the most expensive.

  • No, dear Brie,

Soho London is more expensive than Soho or the Village.

    .

I think even Grenwich in UK would be more expensive than the village ny.

    cheers.

  • Upper East Side, that's the priciest areas to live at in Manhattan. Manhattan is expensive period.

  • Why the dark walls. And all the same color deep blue.

  • I like the way u say here's the halll...heres the closettt..lol..very nice aprtment!!

  • if you dont mind me asking, where in nyc is this? and how much do you pay per month?

    thanks.

  • The apartment is located on the Upper East Side (UES) of Manhattan in the East 80's between 1st and 2nd Avenues. The apartment is in contract to sell for 299K.

  • I love your little space. :)

You have a good amount of storage in such a small space, and it really looks good, too.

  • How much is it?

  • where in nyc??

  • I like it.

I bet you'd get a little stir crazy, but you have a big city to play in.

  • That is a cool apartment!

  • im never moving to nyc unles im super fuckin rich im good in ma house

  • Hey, I like the apartment.

I'm looking to move out soon, and I heard that they're good places to start that off.

Is that true? And how much do they usually go for?

  • The entire apartment is the size of a closet lol.

  • I've always wanted a tall, blue room, ever since I was a kid. Now I have a studio and can't figure out how to get a bed in with my sofa. I need your expertise. Your place is lovely. Let's trade. It would, however, require a cross-country move.

  • i love ure coffeetable

  • Very nice...very well organized.

  • everthing is so cute

  • sooo dont mean to pry but is your apartment more than $1100 a month?

  • wow i like how u hooked up the room n dat bike on the wall is unique lmao...awesome tho i love the colors...

  • dude youre gay?!! ^_^ You rock!!

  • so how much a month do you pay for that place? its really nice.. that must be expensive... are there cheaper studios then that one that you know of?

  • do you have a bathroom?

  • I totally forgot about the bathroom during the tour, but yes I do have a bathroom. As soon as i open the door and walk in, there is a door to the right. Its a decent size bathroom with a full shower/tub, toilet, sink, and a little place to stand.

  • oh, thats kool. me and my gf are moving to the upper east side and we just wanted to see how a studio looks like. i would give up space for new york any day

  • Hi.. how much do you pay a month for that place? because i'm thinking about moving to new york and i'm looking for a small cheap studio.. anyone!!! Help Please!!

  • Use craigslist to find prices of apartments in different neighborhoods, its the best place to find that information.

  • Thank you for the tour. I love the blue walls! I am moving into a studio, and looking for ideas. Nice place. Take Care.

  • The blue looks too dark for such a small place, but it's a pretty nice place.

  • from the voice and style of the place, this dude is gay right?!

  • Yep

  • Awesome place. Looks like something from a magazine.

  • thats a very nice appartment !

  • ooo its cute i love studio apartments but ugh wheres ur bathroom?

  • wow!!I would be claustrophic!! I live in southern Florida with 1600 sq ft condo. But your place looks nice and neat.

  • I've been trying to get ideas on how to better use the space in my own tiny apartment and I never thought to look on YT!

Thank you for the tour. Your place is just gorgeous.

  • i'd love to live in nyc, but it's so expensive for a small place! i really don't care about living in a small place because in nyc you really only need an apartment for sleeping and eating. but my mother couldnt live a in a small place. she's so spoiled XD

  • i think this is really cool. a small folding table at the foot of your bed under your bike is best for eating with two folding chairs. you can also use the chairs for extra seating

  • testing 1234 testing

  • Very cool use of space!

  • Ryan, my spouse needs tips from you!!

  • Could you tell me how many square feet the apartment is? If you feel inclined...how much do you pay a month? I'm looking to move to NYC and this apartment is exactly how I pictured mine. Thanks!

  • to buy it may need 300000 I think,if it locats in upper west

  • wow it is almost a big a Jerry Seinfelds place. I can see why you dont have a cat, a litter box would only clutter the place up. As for spending the night I guess we better save some money up for the Waldorf...I don't suppose you have enough room for a family of 5. We all love it good job and stay safe. We love ya down here in da country!!! Alabama
