Besides it's not as if you're getting paid by YouTube in producing this video. So you are safe. Just put a disclaimer saying you are doing a rendition of a Jim Reeve's song. No problemo.

But as for using the Jim Reeve's name to lure the public into a false sense that they are actually listening to the real artist, that's a trademark violation and subject to investigation by the FBI. To be safe, I suggest the owner of this site shut it down ASAP or face getting caught. It's 5 years jail time or $250,000 fine or both.

it is not eddie or jim. it was done by a guy in the czech republic. very good talent. his title was jim reaves, make the world go away because he was trying to show the version he was singing. it is also the guy in the video. amazing those other countries can actually sing our songs in our language. love em like the rest of the world

This guy does a good job singing this song - I'd love to know who he is. He doesn't sound like Jim or Eddie - or Elvis - but has a pleasant voice. Nice pictures of the forest and other locations. I've always loved this song -

I must admit it would have been wonderful if the great Jim Reeves had covered this fantastic song, such a great pity as I think his version would have been better than Eddy Arnolds 1966 version. As Jim tragically was killed in 1964 we shall never know.

Jim did record this song at his last Studio B session on July 2, 1964. In fact, Jim recorded his version before Eddy Arnold recorded his, but Eddy's was released first. Jim's version appeared on the posthumous LP "The Jim Reeves Way", and there is a posting of it on YouTube, or at least, there was not long ago. Maybe it's been removed.

P.S. This is definitely not Jim Reeves' version, as the other posters have pointed out. Jim's version is arranged much differently from Eddy Arnold's version. This version is arranged very similar to Eddy's version. It's very good, but it's not Eddy Arnold.
