  • I used to wake up really early before school for years in hopes of catching an episode on a network called "PAX". Seemed it was really sporadic... I could never catch it sequentially. But man, it was a great day when it came on.

  • @Melee54 I remember Pax...is that station still around? When I watched the SMBSS during the weekdays, it was aired on one of the local networks. But after that one season (in 1989), I never saw it again. Season two was the Adventures of Super Mario 3, which aired with Captain N on Saturday mornings. Did you ever see that one?

  • @akrug79 Nope, I've never seen either of those. I don't think PAX is still around, but I'm not sure. I don't watch TV these days. All I know is that in the mid 90s, the SMBSS definitely aired randomly on some channels. I just never caught it in time :(

  • @Melee54 Yeah, that sounds about right. I remember reruns of The Adventures of Super Mario 3 being aired on the Family Channel during the early 90s. I also remember Duck Tales and Rescue Rangers shown randomly on some local networks (after school.) It seems like most of those cartoons died out (for good) around the mid-to-late 90s. But the 90s had its share of good cartoons...Mega Man, Mummies Alive, X-Men The Animated Series, and Sailor Moon all jump out at me.

  • @Melee54 I'll have to do another video about 90s cartoons. I was hitting my teenage years by then...but still a great time to be a kid! The only thing I hated about the 90s, was the end of Saturday morning cartoons.
