  • @Phoenixthemodder ...PETA?

  • The government cant let the PETA and SOPA acts take over the internet! Thumbs this up so people can vote against SOPA and PETA!

  • @Phoenixthemodder Do you mean PIPA? PETA is about animals.

  • @blynninja Yeah that. LOL failure.

  • @Phoenixthemodder It's PIPA, not People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, LOL, but both still need to be stopped!

  • This video is more creepy true to day then it was when I first saw it a few years ago.

I fear for the future of this country.

  • Ron Paul for president, end oppression.

  • SOPA and PIPA can suck on- *American Censorship Bill has blocked this comment for being obscene*

  • This guy can dance better than Michael Jackson!

  • 1,263 are government officials

  • Tim hits a home run on this one! I think he speaks for a lot of apathetic Americans who have no faith in the politicians or what our government has evolved into. Wish we had a better set of candidates to choose from! :(

  • so after taking a college class "taxes in america", this song means even more to me. I was so tempted to show it to my class.... but I knew I'd ruffle many feathers.

  • PLEASE READ THIS:

    Dear YouTube viewers,

This is Newt. You know, I’ve been attacked a bunch lately, but I’m okay with that because of mainly one truth: I decided to run in the first place so that I could get wealthier, smarter, and more prominent; but I did not want to become President. Therefore, instead of voting for me, cast your ballot for Ron Paul, the true champion of liberty.

    Thanks for your support,

    Newt Gingrich

  • PLEASE READ THIS:

    Dear fellow American citizens,

This is the President of the United States. I apologize for my failures. I need four more years to make my socialist dreams come true because getting rid of the U.S. Constitution is harder than you think. The free enterprise system is destroying this country and we need Obamacare. Therefore, in order to make my hopes happen while I'm in office, please vote for me this Election Day.

    Thanks for your support,

    Barack Obama

  • i love that this is amazingly funny and true at the same time

    hooray for this country *sigh*

  • I love this video!!! Let's Fire COngress! JOIN GOOOH , The BEST Representation Money CAN'T buy! JOIN the cause at GOOOH.com :) Kelmi

  • The only jobs available are minimum wage? Around here Burger king pays like 9.50 an hour starting. I started minimum wage too, after a 28k/yr military salary. That's how the world works. Who would pay you 15/hr without any knowledge of their company or how it works? Some places, sure, but the point is that you DO have the opportunity to work, your desire to do so at that particular establishment notwithstanding.

  • I don't know if the Founding Fathers would be necessarily 'rolling in their graves'.

John Adams was a supporter of strict government control; he even signed in a law that would allow citizens whom wrote bad things about the government to be imprisoned. He was huge about federal powers and jurisdiction.

Maybe some oppose the government's wealth, but it's been that way since the beginning. The Founding Fathers were some of the wealthiest people in the country.

  • @KeenSceneProductions Yes and Founding Fathers like George Washington used his wealth to take care of his slaves like family (which almost made him go broke).

  • @avws536 Eh..But not quite so.

In fact, he gave money (and even military aid) to French slave-owners in Haiti during the slave rebellion. His slaves worked from dawn to dusk, unless they were unable to work, and they were fed and clothed as inexpensively as possible. He treated his slaves like most other slaves; he wasn't brutal, but he CERTAINLY did not treat his slaves like family as you said.

  • @KeenSceneProductions

That's why they seem so hypocritical to the smart echelon of America, not to the dumb people that believe they were singing angels who freed everyone, they were "All men are created equal, but... we have slaves so it really doesn't matter."

Our founding fathers did a good job disguising their true image.

  • Around here the only jobs available are minimum wage. Sure you can get work but you'd have to work 3 lousy jobs to make just enough money to be broke.

  • I was in a production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and for the closing song on Closing Night, as is custom, not only did we have massive amounts of fourth wall breaking, but we also finished off with this song. It was well-received to say the least. The best part? The Wichita Falls area representative was in attendance! And he loved it!

  • 1,255 socialists

  • Love it!!!

  • @carphil100 - hey buddy, check out my website and look who's lying.

    Great video Tim!

  • @carphil100 Lieing?? Realy?? The goverment right now is taking your money with Taxes, GST, It would take a special president to change all that, say Ron Paul!

  • The video is great but I'm sure Obutthead would not want to watch it, of course he believes in taking everything we have including our homes and locking us in internment camps reconditioning us. Paul is just as scarey, he wants to be friends with Iran, open the borders, etc. Forget him!!!

  • The guy dancing on the pile of cash on 0:37 looks a bit like Obama.

  • There needs to be a revision of this song. At least add this line Who can arrest you without cause, put you away forever without a trial, send the troops in to get you, and get bigger and bigger with a smile? The government cannnnn!

  • RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!! :~- :)

  • "Instead of getting fired, we'll give ourselves a raise." Lol, best line.

  • Government has no voluntary support. Pay the tax or go to jail. Taxes are paid under threat, duress and coercion. Government is men and women attempting to provide services at the barrel of a gun.

  • Comedy has always had it's place in politics, and I think it can be very effective. I just wish people would go out and vote when they get done laughing.

  • U only think its not funny because u kno its true, which sucks

  • Grimm, many Christian/Conservatives have and do PROUDLY serve and fight for this country and the Government that rules it. What we take offense to is people trampling what our Founding Fathers intended for America, which is far from what we have.

  • Grimm, dude there is a difference between someone being anti-government and being PRO LIMITED FEDERAL GOVERNMENT (which is what a VAST majority of Christians/Conservatives are). We are not anti-government. We do believe AS THE CONSTITUTION AND OUR FOUNDING FATHERS BELIEVED, that too strong of a Federal Government leads to what they left England because of. So much of the problems that lead to people coming over from England and ultimately the Revolution is what we are driving towards today.

  • @MrGtuck79 Sorry, you have the one person. I completely agree with you. You want to be saying that to thetuckman1.

  • the same goes for china, russia and every other government for that matter

  • Thanks to Obama, the government can now arrest Tim Hawkins for anything they want to, label him a terrorist, and keep him detained for however long they want to.

  • Doesn't that song make everyone feel better?

  • one word, TRUE!

  • remember this my friends, the Bible warns us of slandering the Government or speaking evil of those in authority.

  • @ZapataBro

Sure, what makes you assume it's the USG, what about China's, Russia's? Why does everyone assume the Bible speaks about America's government when America wasn't even discovered when the Bible was written.

  • TRUE THIS! I LOVE THIS VIDEO!

  • I LOVE THIS AND HATE THE GOVERNMENT

  • Conservatives, when making jokes about politics, are physically incapable of being funny.

    True fact.

  • @thetuckman1 Oh, your just upset that conservatives are right.

  • @GrimmThePhantom Dohohoho! I see what you unintentionally did there!

But no. There isn't any political idealogy that is objectively correct. I was being faceticious.

  • @thetuckman1 When you say that unintentually did something, are you referring to how I made a remark about conservatives are right and libs being wrong? If so, that wasn't unintentional. Here are examples of funny conservatives: Jeff Allen, Brad Stine, and Tim Hawkins. Look at any of their videos and you'll see their funny.

  • @GrimmThePhantom One: Conservatives: Right wing. Two: I mean, when joking about politics. Three: I just don't like anti-government people. It's annoying.

  • @thetuckman1 If Al Gore, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden were on a sinking ship, who would be safe first? America! That is evidence that a conservative can be funny. And if you don't like the joke because you're a liberal then that's your problem.

  • @GrimmThePhantom .........

I wouldn't find that joke funny if it were Sarah Palin, Bill O'reilly, and Michelle Bachman.

    It's cliche, trite, and unfunny.

    In other words, [citation needed]

  • @thetuckman1 Fine, whatever, how about we just enjoy this comedy genius? Conservatives maybe in your mind not funny but they know how to save our country from Obama and socialism.

  • @GrimmThePhantom One- Obama is not a socialist. Two- even if he was, socialism is not inherently bad. Three- I never said conservatives are unfunny (or even that I dislike conservatives, I like quite a few of them) just that conservatives joking about politics is almost never funny. I mean, The 1/2 Hour News Hour was a legendary peice of crap, but Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert have been on the air for years.

  • @thetuckman1 Obama is not a socicalist but he sure is a fascist dictator!

  • @ubbooh ........

    Heh, no.

  • @ubbooh dude...there is little to no difference between a socialist and a fascist...

  • @thetuckman1 Obama is a liberal which is almost as bad. Socialism is when you everyone has to do with society and therefore you have no private possessions. You would have no private property and in some cases neighbors complain if your yard isn't the same as theirs. To be honest, I like my property the way I have and I like keeping what I earn and it shouldn't given to lazy people on welfare.

  • @thetuckman1 My example of neighbors complaining about your yard? That has actually happened! Doesn't that bother you? That people are telling you what to do with your property? If Obama gets his way (a second term), then the rich will become poor and the poor will become even more poor. I could explain.

  • @GrimmThePhantom "To be honest, I like my property the way I have and I like keeping what I earn and it shouldn't given to lazy people on welfare.

" Obviously, there are some who take advantage of the welfare system (like, for example, Christian Chandler) but what you seem to be suggesting is that all it takes for a person to live comfortably is a little bit of effort. In reality it's more like effort and luck, which the majority of impoverished Americans lack, obviously.

  • @thetuckman1 There are tons of jobs out their people just aren't looking. They aren't lacking luck, they're lacking effort.

  • I luv Tim Hawkins the song is catchy

  • Mixes it with lies and makes it all taste good

    .

  • Following the tales of a true story

  • The scary thing is a lot of idiots think it should be that way.......... Damn Liberals!!!!!!!

    Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • A whole bunch of satire that ordinary Americans get, but the politicians are still scratching their heads on what the video means.

  • How does he really feel about the gov.? :) LOL!

  • @PatriotlsMyBoy

    When?

  • @rockliferule um... more... and, switch those comments i put. i gots the names mixed up... ~mummbles~ stupid dyslexia

  • Comment removed

  • I hope the government arrests Tim hawkins for being so fucking crappy. She Isn't funny and sings like crap. Thumbs up if you agree

  • @gaymezsuk Who can arrest Tim Hawkins? ...The government can!

  • This one is almost as funny as his song "My Name is Bob"

  • Guys, and girls!!!! This is a comedy video. I'm sure even President Obama has seen it. He probably laughed along with everyone else. And lay off Christians. Not all of us are judgemental hypocrits that try to force our religion down your throats. Or at least I'm not. Just watch the video, and laugh with the rest of us.

  • @rinzlerkitty94

You just showed yourself to be a judgmental hypocrite with that blanket statement.

  • @rinzlerkitty94 hey all I have to say is that this video is hilarious and not all Christians are hypocrites just the ones that think cause they serve God and attend church every week they're great. Well the bible says no man is good not one. Also it's not forcing our religion down your throat the majority of us are nice and just talk to people and tell them about God. Thanks Sincerely, Every Non-Judgmental Christian

  • @Kenichi413 You have a very good point and that is what I failed to say with my first comment. Forgivve me if anything I said offended you.

  • @rinzlerkitty94 its alright no problem

  • @rinzlerkitty94 Well, actually it's you non-believers that usually act hypocritical and try to force YOUR beliefs on everyone else. That's why we have athiests suing the government to have memorial crosses that have stood for decades in places far off the beaten path remove because they're offended, poor babies.

  • @MistyBleauAngel I am a Christian, honey. Note that I said "us" in my comment. I am very deeply offended by your comment, and I think we can all saafely say that uselessly hurtful comments like the ones being thrown around on this video cause more problems than they solve.

  • @rinzlerkitty94 Not all Christians are judgmental hypocrites that try force our religion down your throat either. There are hypocritical Christian just like there are hypocritical non-Christians. Please don't judge all of us by the actions of some. I promise we aren't all the same. =) God bless and have a great night!

  • @AmandaThePhoenix I know that there are hypocritical Christians out there, and sometimes I'm one of them. And I've tried to make it a practice not to judge anyone based on their beliefs anymore.

  • @rinzlerkitty94 Good for you. It's difficult sometimes. Just remember that there is a difference between judging people and judging their actions. There's nothing wrong with judging actions, otherwise we wouldn't know what is sin and what isn't! Something I just figured out recently. (=

  • the 1,248 people who dislike this are in the government

  • It's so true and he makes it so hilarious!!!

  • Glad to see those "urgent" top comments wiped off the face of Youtube... Thumbs up if you know what I mean. C'mon, I can't be the only one!

  • SARCASTIC!!!!! lmao

  • JUST AWESOME!!!!!!!!!Hi from Australia.

  • @JOSEPHDANCE75 How is your government?

  • @TankSwift

I do not particularly believe that left-wing parties are particularly opposite, or better in the case of America. I figured it a decent, though not primary, premise to my argument in my original comments.

I did not mean to stress left-right politics in my comments, and I rather wish people would not soley respond to that premise.

  • @Lukeor

I suppose so. That being said, I'd expect the right wing party in a country to be in engaging in more anti-socialist policies than the left-wing one.

  • Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • @RiseUpGoldCoastSuns

For that matter, if the rich were really getting hurt by taxes, why is it that wealth is becoming INCREASINGLY concentrated to the most wealthy? Why are the rich getting richer?

If socialism (left-wing) governments have been the cause of the debt of the US, why were the republicans (right-wing) in power for the 8 years leading into the recession?

Do some reading. I'd suggest "The Shock Doctorine" by Naoimi Klein.

  • @Quigster23 Nonsense. Both parties are engaged in socialism and fascism. Anti-govt is not pro-republican. Get that false dichotomy out of your head and YOU go read some Murray Rothbard.

  • @Quigster23

Both parties exercise corporate socialism and abuse American civil rights that are starting to make even Orwell's idea of a dystopian dictatorship fall to it's knee's.

The paradigm of "Left-Right" politics is fake and a distraction from the real issues at hand...you need to "wake the fuck up" as they say.

  • @Quigster23 Remember that when the recession commenced in 2008, the House and Congress were run by Democrats.

  • @RiseUpGoldCoastSuns

Do you think that it's not the recession, but people getting lazier, that has caused unemployment to go up of late?

The free-market crash was the result of LACK of government. The government did the opposite of what a socialist government would have done- not regulate the market. It led to the horrid state of affairs we have today, and the debt increasing hugely due to the bailout.

Socialism can not be seriously used as a reason for why the USA is in the shits.

  • @RiseUpGoldCoastSuns

Over the past 30 years, most world governments have been giving up their power- going the OPPOSITE of socialism. Cuts to social progams have been the order of the day, not further funding, for a long while now. And it in this anti-socialist ideal that we have the current state of affairs.

Most jobless people aren't jobless because they're lazy. If that was really the case, why would unemployment rates ever raise or fluctuate at all?

  • @FragleMonster

    /watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0

You're tired of tax money going to the PEOPLE THAT NEED IT THE MOST?! Yes, let's not support the poor person who has, in probability these days, done little to deserve their current placement in society, but because of the dissolving of the middle class has lost their wealth.

Let's support the rich who are doing their upmost to give us as little job security, as low wages, and as little free speech as possible.

  • @Quigster23 If it wasn't for the rich, the poor wouldn't have any jobs. Its socialist governments like what you have in the USA and what we have in Australia at the moment thats causing all the debt. Taxing rich, giving that money to people that can't be bothered finding a job. Bringing in a carbon tax that will do nothing to world temperatures. Small business gets drowned in red tape. Socialist governments just don't work and til people realise it we will just keep getting poorer and poorer.

  • As much as I dislike how the current governments in the US have failed, I just can't like this video.

Intentionally or not, the pure "anti-government" message without enough specification just doesn't sit right with me. Rather than opposing certain government actions, it just seems to me to be too opposing of the concept of government on a whole, and that's not what we need today.

  • Comment removed

  • Supergreenman1: were not saying we don't want taxes were just saying were tired of having all of our tax money go to homeless and all of the governments scams. We only want taxes for roads, police, ect. The government shouldn't tax just the rich either. To prove my point who was the last poor person that hired you?

  • love it. how can u not like this?

  • Tim... Can you run for President? Please?

  • FUNNIEST SONG EVER

  • too true

  • this vid is so funny!!

  • pure tea party trash

  • @supergreenman1 Is ignorance Bliss? I feel bad for the minds that think in your vain pal.

  • @saveeguns Tell me you don't benefit from paying taxes so I can call you a liar.

your house is on fire, who do you call. The fire department which is funded by taxes.

The fire department drives to your burning house on roads. Funded by taxes

When they pull you out of your burning house you are treated by EMS Again funded by taxes.

    Schools - funded by taxes

the army that protects your country - funded by taxes

    police - funded by taxes.

without taxes you're on your own. have fun

  • @supergreenman1 You can do all of that without government. Government just creates a monopoly on it so it can justify it's overbearing existence. You only think "taxes funds the fire dept" because that's all you ever grew up knowing.

  • @saveeguns I wish people like you could opt out so when you need the services provided by paying taxes you're left in the cold.

  • @supergreenman1 I never knew the Tea Party was completely anti taxes. How much do you really know about the Tea Party from the top of your head? Besides, this humorous observation seems funny on the video, but when you realize how true it is, it becomes scary.

  • This will be stuck in my head for a while. :)

  • wow

  • I sing this all the time.(:

  • gah! Too much truth!

  • @seekerfang217 & others - You do realise people have been trying to get this message across ever since politicians first turned professional?

Comments like "Finally, someone speaks the truth" provide a pretty good insight into why it's taking so freaking long for the masses to get the point

  • I wish this video was true. I mean, if the government taxed the sunshine and trees, maybe they'd forget about the people!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Sad but true.

  • Cunt Twat DIck Ass...hmm still have my freedom of speech

  • @UNightedProduxionz what is this supposed to prove? This is so moronic

  • LOL this is awesome!!!! ..

  • interesting, wouldnt let me post what I originally typed, took out a few key words and BAM posted. Guess our freedom of speech is really gone.

  • RON PAUL

  • @gwschwetz Thank you!

  • @tornadochaser2010 I like your post of Newt the Grinch,,,,, awesome ..... stinking Globalist

  • @gwschwetz I've noticed that happening a lot lately on my YT comments, too. :-/

  • @lauriejennifer (freedom of speech)........... going going GONE!!!! ( Restoring freedom).....Ron Paul 2012

  • @gwschwetz That's right! Ron Paul 2012!!!

This song is a great way to help spread the word about the MOUNTAINS AND MOUNTAINS of FRAUD in our Goldman Sachs owned government! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Been to one of your stand-up comedy HES SO FUNNY

  • Obama the Marxis need to be defeated

  • unfortunately this is true for all the goverments around the world. It´s not different where I´m living :(

  • Guess what the government can do now...... slaughter horses!

  • I'm putting this just to see how much controversy comes up:

    Newt Gingrich 2012
