yep. if you so happen to be in an accident where the airbag goes off, hopefully you'll have a coat on or a long sleeve shirt. they do hurt... i know, i've been a couple accidents....
it only burns if you touch the back metal part i think the temperature is somewhere around 750 to 800 degrees which is pretty damn hot :P and the older car airbags do smell real bad not sure about the new ones.
