  • Comment removed

  • what fagot would dislike this?!??!?

  • Not to be mean but that guy sure fucked up the landing if he got caught in a fucking tower

  • @GERMANYisStrong Id like to see you land in the middle of a french village in the middle of a battle and having to land somewhere after jumping out of a speeding evasive plane with thick anti aircraft fire at only 500 ft. War never seems to go as easy as the films make them seem.

  • Outstanding Song (Thank You Larry) and Video. I did not get the Honor to have met Paratrooper Steele but as a Paratrooper with B2/325th Abn Inf 1973-77 I knew him well. I attended 60th anniv. of D-Day with C-47 Club a number of 505th PIR and 551st

PIB WW11 Veterans were in this group an extreme Honor to have been in their Company. All The Way "LET'S GO"

  • God Bless the 82nd and 101st! My Great Great Uncle was in the 82nd in Normandy and was in the 325th GIR and fought at La Fiere and survived. God Bless John Steele! God Bless America!

  • God bless American

  • As a member of the 101st...I have to say..the 82nd was and is, one of the world's finest Airborne Units. I fought along side them in the "Bush"..watched them in action...one ASS KICKIN' UNIT!

    GOD BLESS THE AIRBORNE!

    GOD BLESS THE 82...and PLEASE GOD...BLESS MY UNIT...THE 101ST!

  • Well done. *****

  • "Glory to God" was the signal for Pointe du Hoc taking.

  • welldone ! really great !!

    nice 5/5

  • I"m proud to be a member of the 101st ABN (ASSLT). Some stand tall for those who can't or won't. I have a song I wrote during my second tour in Afghanistan called Jeremy's Song I'd appreciate any feedback. God Bless America

  • Just returned from Normandy and the 65th. A fine tribute to not only John Steele but all the men & women of D-Day. The French always welcome us with open arms in Normandy. Been going for many years to Normandy on D-Day... another emotional week for all who came to honor those who won for us the freedoms we enjoy today ! Currahee ! TCUNC76!

  • Thanks for this! John Steele was my step-grandfather. I was a young teenager when he died, still I remember him quite fondly. He was quite a character and great storyteller. I remember well the ones he told of his days in France. He walked with a limp from the gunshot wound that he received that day.

My mother, his step-daughter, and I attended the 60th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. It was, and is, hard for me to believe that he was still remembered so lovingly after all these years.

  • @doanennc

Please let me honor your step-grandfather, a hero, my grandfather was also a paratrooper in Vietnam war (I think that is why I have a special very respect for paratroopers), he served in the Airborne Division of ARVN (the best of the ARVN), I am gonna join the 101st to follow my grandfather path.

  • Great Video = Thanks. I am dissapointed in some of the responses though. I am French and proud to number amongst my many friends many Americans. The attitude of some though is surely the start of the slippery slope of intolerance many US / Canadian / British & French laid their lives down to combat?

  • Yes, many people overcome hatred, just for it to start all over again. The root of it is intolerance for one's fellow man. I have thoroughly enjoyed the times I have been to Paris - I once worked there for about two weeks, and it is a glorious city, with very helpful people.

  • Pewt the french charge its liberators money thousands of fucking dollars for every man buried who died for thier goddammed country e give our lives they then send a bill

  • Wonderful song

  • Simply BEAUTIFUL. thanks

  • Absolutly great song!!

  • FANTASTIC....JUST FANTASTIC. God Bless...

    AIRBORNE!

    101ST SCREAMING EAGLES RULE!

  • 101st aiborne rules yees but wasn't it the 82nd that jumped on St-Mère-l'église

  • Thanks a lot for this wonderful song. It tells an impressing story. Maybe you could improve of the sound quality of the synth sounds. Try Synthfont with good quality soundfonts. (There are many on the net for free).

  • Beautiful and very moving! Thanks!

  • Even though France is a hateful proud nation in trouble america will die to save our niehgbors before ourselves

  • I am not a lover of the french and we would all do better without them..No thanks for your freedom frog's. We thank the brave men of WW2 for you once a year...:)

  • Check your facts. We wouldn't be American had it not been for the French coming to our rescue in 1778. Later they, along with most EVERY OTHER nation were smart enough not to jump off the cliff with George W. into Iraq. Can't blame the French for thinking! Wish W would have thought. World War II fact: for those of you hung up on the "they owe us" syndrome... WWII began in 1939...France, Britain & allies asked us for our help, but we didn't. Until 3 yrs later when Japanese bombed us.

  • we gave them ammo guns and vechiles we suffered a undeclared navel war with germany to bring supllies to euope

  • Yes, these lovely Christian types who are anything but Christ-like in their attitude to their fellow man.

Do you know where the statue of liberty came from? Did you ever read about the French resistance?

Would you join someone who was out to get Magog and Gog in the ME like Bush was?

  • they are the only true allies in france the resistance was a great friend

  • Very moving song, Larry! Very intense! What a story you have told! Your vocal, the strings, the story, the entire song. What a beautiful and moving tribute to John Steele, the Paratroopers, the soldiers of yesterday who fought and today who still fight to keep our country and our families safe! God Bless You, Larry, for telling this story!
