  • Hi Tammy my hair is down past my chest and I was wandering if when you donate is this the hair cut they do the same time every time? thanks!

  • @Hidenbehindblackhair You can have it cut however you like:)

  • That is nice....

  • wow, that is perfection, I used to get this done in Manhattan on St. Marks place, but had straight bangs in front, did that for years, people said that is the only cut for me lol, older now, gotta shag and hide ahaha. Great vid!

  • hi tammy, i have a question, when cutting curly hair, should it be flat ironed first (if the client regularly flat irons it). my friend flat irons her very curly hair a few times a week but idk if it matters if its curly or flat ironed when cut.thank you.

  • @sunnydizzle79 I have done it that way. You just have to make sure it is evenly flat ironed. I think for really curly hair that can work better:)

  • Great cut!! I've been doing hair for 4 years and I'm always looking for new ideas and techniques! Thank you for doing a good hair tutorial channel!! Definitely subscribing!!!

  • so what angle are you holding the hair at to make the graduation in the back? like the stack

  • @mobaby21 A 45 degree angle:)

  • me too want the same haircut from you

  • me too want to get the same haircut from you

  • Wonderful short bob for a sweety girl!

    i love it

  • Beautiful haircut!! What is the make of your scissors and razor? They are amazing xx

  • @182Labyrinth182 Thank you so much! I use '5" Hikari Cosmo' scissors and the 'Feather' razor:)

  • She looks so pretty.

  • Tammy I LOVE your videos they have helped me so much.. Ive been doing hair for 3 years off and on and have had the crapiest teachers.. Thank you for these!!

  • @McColeyLovin Thank you! It's good to hear that I've helped you...not good to hear you've had crappy teachers:( If you ever have any questions, just send me a message.

  • nice undercut would suit that haircut also

  • did the sides already have an angle due to you pulling the hair back in a ponytail and cutting it like that?ty.

  • @sunnydizzle79 Yes. The sides should angle if you cut them behind the ear. Then all you have to do is clean it up:)

  • @favatat Thank you so much for your instructions. I will put them in practice as soon as possible. (:

  • @gabylovely If you ever have any questions, don't be afraid to ask...really:) OX

  • Yes, please show us step by step how to go from a dark colored hair to a blonde. Also I'm having a lot of requests on ladies wanting their hair light brown and they have jet black hair color in. How can I do a 'Color extraction' without damaging their hair too much?

  • @gabylovely I will work on getting a model for a Going from dark to light hair tutorial. Color removal is a tuff one. Taking the gradual approach is best if possible. Try highlighting the hair with foils and bleach (at least 20 volume or it won't break through the color). You could lift it up to the level you want to achieve and then tone. Highlight it again every month or so until most of the dark color is grown out and/or highlighted.

  • @favatat You could also buy a color remover. You usually have to do it a couple of times and it smells kinda bad...but, that will work too. After you get the color off you will then have to recolor it to even it all out. XO

  • THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS SIMPLE HOW TO VIDEO!!! i am currently in cosmetology school we have not learned any haircuts except the 90..i am the kind of person who likes to go above and beyond! i literally followed you step by step and i did REALLY GOOD!! my teacher was also surprised when i showed her my mannequin! again.. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!

  • @UrGrlV Good for you! That is totally awesome! XO

  • can you do this cut with scissors

  • @mikisarah1975 Yes, you can use your scissors:))

  • why dont you use thinning shears? they are a hell of a lot easier when trying to thin out hair instead of fanning out with regular scissors.

  • @hutsonburg Good point it would be faster and I do use thinning shears for certain haircuts, but most of the time I like to thin and texture with my scissors, because it gives it a more precision cut. Thanks for watching:)

  • could you make a video on how to go from black hair color to blonde

  • Could you do a bob but with scissors were not aloud use razors :( m I find bobs is my hardest cut fir some reason the angle at the front never goes as good as urs :( x

  • @spoons2007 Bobs can be tricky and are known to be one of the hardest haircuts. Try over-directing the sides back a little more when it's wet and clean it up after it's dry. XO

  • @favatat can u make more shampoo videos or include the shampoo in your haircut videos

  • My 9 year old did this she donated her hair it was really long she gave about 13 in. but the lady who cut it did a horrible job we told her to cut it just how u showed an she made the top layers shorter an the inside layers longer her hair looks all uneven an messed up but im too scared to cut it ne more cus she made the top hair so short! Luckly her hair grows fast so now her hairs down to her shoulders again its been 4 months so im gonna have to be getting it fixed now that its longer on top.

  • @M4m4ciiTa That's a bummer that she got a bad haircut:( Good for her for donating though! XOXO
