i find it usefull to play back the audio to the ghosts after you have reviewed the audio. it lets the ghosts know when they are getting through and when they are not geting through. it helps make for better comunications.

Be very careful with this stuff - there are some folks who think these aren't spirits - but rather the djinn ( google it). Excellent examples of Evp in this video though.

It is conceivable and even plausible that such a standing wave could maintain its "shape" and so maintain it's unique personality after death, providing another energy source is available besides chemical energy our bodies run on. i feel if you are using the ghost box you are allowing incoming interference especially from a source in which humans use to communicate with. I feel this method can cause a high rate of contamination of people broadcasting on a radio frequency. am bounces off the atmosphere alot and you can get broken signals easily plus am is usually talk radio especially at night.
@greaper512 Hi, you are right on all levels there, but "in theory" a lot of EVP is formed when there is a high rate of background noise. Yes, there are small snippets of radio stations, white noise and distortion, but it is this that is in theory used to manipulate to form words.
I always say though, I do have personal beliefs but my beliefs aren't fact and that until proven either way, every possibility remains open.

Sounds more like "Are you Jonathan?" in an older British lad's voice. The inflection goes up at the end of your name and the voice has a slight trill to the R in are. Something you wouldn't hear in "Thank You".

I have a digital recorder plus a wave editor on my PC... I'm def going to try this... I know that consciousness never dies and that life, or rather intelligence, continues beyond physical decay... Recent studies in quantum mechanics allows this to be verified if not accepted... Any advice?

@Highspirit75 The human body produces a complex electromagnetic wave unique to each individual while we are alive. It is conceivable and even plausible that such a standing wave could maintain its "shape" and so maintain it's unique personality after death, providing another energy source is available besides chemical energy our bodies run on. Of course that begs the question, though, is a ghost a static form, or do they continue to "grow" and change after death? Plz ask that one...

i feel if you are using the ghost box you are allowing incoming interference especially from a source in which humans use to communicate with. I feel this method can cause a high rate of contamination of people broadcasting on a radio frequency. am bounces off the atmosphere alot and you can get broken signals easily plus am is usually talk radio especially at night.

@greaper512 Hi, you are right on all levels there, but "in theory" a lot of EVP is formed when there is a high rate of background noise. Yes, there are small snippets of radio stations, white noise and distortion, but it is this that is in theory used to manipulate to form words.
I always say though, I do have personal beliefs but my beliefs aren't fact and that until proven either way, every possibility remains open.

Amazing results there Jonathan. I've hack a RadioShack model # 12-587 radio and plan on experimenting with the aluminum enclosure that you've been teaching. I live in Tennessee. Thanks for all the advise. I'll let you know how things turn out....

its is freaky and they do sound alot like the names shown but youre brain might just be picking up what you want to hear. I could be very wrong but for instance where it said thank you jhonothan it sounded like it said fuck you. but the sound clip is very intresting and i will leave the true analynis to the profishnials and sory about my spelling but i am dislestic.

Sounds more like "Are you Jonathan?" in an older British lad's voice. The inflection goes up at the end of your name and the voice has a slight trill to the R in are. Something you wouldn't hear in "Thank You".

There are a few techniques but its the existing background noise that "in theory" helps the spirits to form their words.
Quite often, you can clean the EVPs up in programmes like Audacity after you capture them to make them more understandable

Just today i was home alone on my bed and all a sudden my door is pushed open. I was convinced someone or a cat had opened it, but i look around the hall and theres nothing and no one. Im going to do some evp work now.

Thsi is not about this vid but JD? I feel when we cursing, I believe they are cursing at one another to give them time to communicate, some are very pushy and bullish. I don' t believe they are cursing at you researchers out of the blue, They seem more then willing to talk when they can, the less around them the better the evps I believe. Some sound so cute when talking about martin, they say here's martin, like they are almost jealous or amused that you two have a relationship. Must be lonely

With the ghost box it takes a while to get used to what to listen for, I still miss a lot of stuff today. Sometimes the voices will be there but has to be listened to multiple times to hear everything

Madhobbit says that his "Martin" sounds to him like a young boy. Mine sounds like an adult with a British accent. I think mine and JD's sound similar maybe.
