  • My Dad passed away 3 years ago today. This song was played at his funeral (he was a prawn trawlerman & lived his life for the ocean and his family).

  • Great song, well done really enjoyed, well constructed.

  • I love this well played and sang beautiful graphics thumbs up

  • I spoke the chorus at my brothers wedding hoping they would, some day, have their own crew. They have now. What a lovely song.

Johnny our roots are in Mt. Pleasant Ave. I knew your mother and father,Paddy O Brien and Nancy ,all gone now and sadly missed. I went to school at the same time as Eric and Michael.I wish we could see times like that again. Be well.

  • I've been a Johnny Duhan fan since I heard him sing "there's a curtain to the left of me a joker to the right and the centre's no where to be found" - great man.

  • Glad you like it and sing it. Happy New year.

  • @Johnny Duhan

Thank you so much for this song. I learned it from David Yeates in Dublin a few days ago. It causes drifting tears into my eyes whenever I sing it for me wife and kids.
