  • B"H

    wonderful .

    Gadol.

  • Bravo, Beautifl

  • Beautifl, but why no Kippah?! If he is Reciting T'hillim/Saying his Prayers etc..., He should have his head coverd! Mind you one must always have ones head converd!

  • This is a concert performance, so I don't believe that it is important in this circumstance.

  • He is still Reciting Scriptures, thus performence or not his head should be coverd! The talmud states that a man should not even sleep with his head uncoverd (I am egaleterrian orthodox)!

  • That may be true, but although I am still Jewish, I am not orthodox. So you really do not need to tell me what to do.

  • And besides that, if the face is covered during a performance, then you can hardly understand the words.

  • You still have yet to tell me how a Kipah covers the face! and as I have said in the past a friend of mine (who is is a Reform Cantor), still, even in a concert, covers her head when she Recites something liturgical/Scriptural! A friend of mine (who is a Conservative Cantor) Covers his head even when only performing, so your argument doesn't fly! A secular Israeli friend even covers his head when needed and he would strongly disagree! BTW I was not telling you what to do but questioning him!

  • Oh, right, it was the HEAD, not the entire face.

  • Maybe you will keep your mouth shut when the comment was not directed at you nor in anyway, shape or form concerning you!

  • SHAVUA TOV!

  • Mouth Shut.

  • Shavua Tov and Chag Sameyach!

    il jette la semence;
