great guitar.what's the name of the guitar.great saperation and high resolution.
i wish to see more and more asian people playing classical guitars or music.we don't have the tradition or culture to this but hopefully the young generation will be more motivated to learn.so far only japaness and a bit chinese respond to the classical in serious way.
Yes, may I say respectfully that it is played a little too fast here. But you play it faithfully to the music which I cannot do and wish I could. My transcrition is faulty if I remember> Is that common in this piece?
I played this video because I wanted to hear the sound of Frieson guitar, and it is very, very good! As for the interpretation, I find it great for exercise, certainly different from official concert presentation, if I'm not mistaken (?).
Whooaa!! Slow down there tiger! What good is the speed at the cost of musicality? You are really butchering the piece. It's an admirable effort, but you are mission the whole feeling and romanticism of this type of music.
He says that he wasn't especially influenced by Pepe Romero. Rather, this particular stance was more-or-less favored in Japan when he was starting out, some 40 something years ago. Thanks for your comment.

Speed for precision? not a good exchange...
Slower and more accurate notes with more feeling.
Don't try to run before you can walk!

You're good, but you play like a robot. No emotional attatchment to the song at all.

Go back to the drawing board and slow down.
Good luck.

is your teacher influenced by Pepe Romero? He holds the guitar like Pepe...not many do it this way. Just wondering.

Nice. Good sense of unaffected, yet sincere playing. I like the guitar too. Sounds almost flamenco-like.
