Hell yes, my high school band, "Thick 'n Creamy" covered this song & Cold Gin & Fire House. I saw this tour and the '76 tour when they came through Albany, NY. Check out the triple Gibson attack: "the Ripper" (Gene) the "Firebird"(Paul) and the "Les Paul" (Ace) . . . pure rock

A time of street hockey, marvel comics, hanging out at the 7-eleven playing Asteroids, T-shirts that read 'DISCO SUCKS', the movie 'THE WARRIORS' & 'STARWARS' plastic scateboards, HAPPY DAYS & WELCOME BACK KOTTER. Hush puppies and North star sneakers, Saturday night live and french cut jeans. Pong, iron on t-shirts, stick on tatoes and Bruce Lee posters. Sorry, having a moment here.

@deathbag2000 I'm with you on Gene's bass playing. It wasn't the boring "metal", root note bass playing of the 1980's. He sounds very influenced by the early rock 'n' roll and Motown bassplaying of the '60's but also people like Paul McCartney. Listen to the bass playing on Goin Blind! He really has an ear for melody.
