What are you talking about? Getting song buffs throughout a fight is considered help, so that's not a solo. The NIN here had protect/shell/haste, that's it. The haste ran out mid-way, and s/he took no help from anyone. The buffs were all buffs -before- the fight, not during. That's considered a solo since the NIN took no help -during- the fight. And haterade is a made up word, but I didn't create it. Google it.

Yes i believe that the damage rates are different and there are different attacks. for instance certain mobs have gaze attacks which only have a frontward conical area of effect.

One huge thing wrong withthis vid...the ninja isnt soloing. If he was, the Behemoth would ALWAYS be facing them. Its more BS with people off cam who you can see are casting spells. Mobs like Khimaera,Fafnir(and other wyrms),Cerberus,and Behemoth maintain one facing in a 45 degree arc and melee whoever has aggro within that arc without changing their facing.Also,any smart HNM camper plays with /blockaid on to prevent outside spells from being cast on you and as you can see,the person is in a PT by themselves. On top of that you can watch her health and buff bar for the entire fight. The buffs dont change.
And if you also notice she dosent get healed at all....the only way she heals herself is through regen drinks. This is a legit solo and props to the person who did it. IMO nin/thf isnt the most ideal combo to try this with XD.
The blockaid up shows they did not intend to be assisted. and this is obviously a LONG battle the little buffs at the get go didnt mean shit in the long run. When you start to tire a bit and fatigue sets in. By that time she had none. This is Solo. GTFO haters..

Behemoth has the acc of a EM mob tho tanking a Colibri is harder, behemoth is the #1 most overrated mob, you cant tell if she would've made it or not w/o buffs @ 5:38 you can see that she resists the effect of stun, shell can do that, behe stun can be up to 10 sec.

If its a haste belt he is hacking lol. Watch 0:36 haste lands at the same time he's casting utsu: ni. However, he isnt hacking, its just obvious that the spell was received. Plus a Nin is unable to equip a haste belt. Then to top it off, the haste belt doesnt have the actual haste animation.

I did this at level 75 same as this nin. I never got a haste spell and only had my own macro'd gear for haste/spell interruption %- don't be a faggot.
I got it down to 12% as THF/NIN in full evasion gear and merits, but it raged on me. I think i had like 321 evasion skill and +112 evasion. It was a long time ago, i dont remember too well.. I can say for sure: I DO NOT MISS THE EFFING GEAR SWAPS. Switching to haste gear for utsu, then WS gear for DE and then back to evasion gear usually took multiple macroes without windower. Fucking -sore- fingers.
You realize that the people that gave her Cured were not in her LS. I'm willing to bet they were trying to steal claim by building hate on it for if she died. Also she put /blockaid on after first cure so idk how you call this not soloing

If she had someone outside healing her with her permission and hasting her, she wouldn't have /blockaid. And idk wtf your ls or friends do with curing to get hate on HNMs, but it's normaly Cure III-IV spam as much as possible to get hate since those are hate pullers. Get a SCH and can Accension + Rapture + Divine Seal + Cure IV other parties and get MAJOR hate spike. It's fun lol

I did this at level 75 same as this nin. I never got a haste spell and only had my own macro'd gear for haste/spell interruption %- don't be a faggot.

I got it down to 12% as THF/NIN in full evasion gear and merits, but it raged on me. I think i had like 321 evasion skill and +112 evasion. It was a long time ago, i dont remember too well.. I can say for sure: I DO NOT MISS THE EFFING GEAR SWAPS. Switching to haste gear for utsu, then WS gear for DE and then back to evasion gear usually took multiple macroes without windower. Fucking -sore- fingers.

You realize that the people that gave her Cured were not in her LS. I'm willing to bet they were trying to steal claim by building hate on it for if she died. Also she put /blockaid on after first cure so idk how you call this not soloing

dude she got a haste lol who casts haste on ppls at HNM's? its only cure I and II cause of the 3-4 sec delay of a chance to stopp all action for 3-4secs from that player. this wasnt soloed. this DID have assitance. and everyone should know if your trying to solo behe you /blockaid .

lol okay let me explain something. When you buff someone, you establish hate. And she only got ONE haste... If she had someone outside healing her with her permission and hasting her, she wouldn't have /blockaid. And idk wtf your ls or friends do with curing to get hate on HNMs, but it's normaly Cure III-IV spam as much as possible to get hate since those are hate pullers. Get a SCH and can Accension + Rapture + Divine Seal + Cure IV other parties and get MAJOR hate spike. It's fun lol

getting haste on you is a HUGE difference. its like having Black Belt euipped on MNK vs a free waist slot. Please, don't mix up solo with "i am the ONLY damage dealer"

Okay, let's give him this. All of the damage that killed it was his. Defensively? He *TANKED* it while people assisted him, no different than if they were in the party. It's impressive, nonetheless, that he was able to tank it without screwing it up.

at least someone has half a grip of reality on the english language and knows what solo actually means. This isn't impressive as it would be without buffs or being cured at all. Even w/ meds its doable, but harder w/o the 2nd person helping. Id even consider that solo because there your meds.

I dont see why this person is accused of not soloing it. You can plainly see their shadows going down at the top left corner of the screen and they even turn the camera angle to show that the only other people there are just other people wanting the same claim. although to some this may seem impossible, but you have to watch it carefully before accusing them of not being able to do what you consider impossible.

Skilled player yes, but anyone w/ healing buffs and haste /nin melee can take this down. He recieved pro/shell/haste and cures multiple times throughout the fight.
Any THF or NIN can "solo" this the way you think he just "solod" it.
It is not solo unless he had /blockaid on, no one else in his party and killed it.
Without those cures he would have died, end of story. That isn't a solo.

I see all these mixed posts and I can't help but gasp in "aw" at the ignorant ones. Yes, the fight was soloed. Yes, she got thrown 1 haste, right at the start of the battle. Does it make a difference? No. 1 haste doesn't make you or break you. Now, if she would have been getting haste throughout the whole battle, that's a different story and that would not count as soloing. Otherwise, a great display of skill. From one Elvaan F NIN to another, grats.

The healer was used for if he/she would've died. but nonetheless, if you watched the entire video, you woulda saw no cures being put on him. unless you consider Ni, or Ichi heals.
