  • Wow he was some energy bunny1 I met him once and was amazed he was so energetic at his age. I will never for get it. I asked Uncle Charlie what the secret was he said oatmeal raisins and har wourk(how they said it) My dad was 80 when he passed. He died of complications of an ammonia he had been in the hospital for cancer of the spleen. Mom had cancer of the stomach,but all of it was removed. She died of complications of precautionary chemotherapy...I guess we are cousins! thanks Fran

  • Thanks for the kind words. The Trooper is Mary Ligammari, (Mary Rose). She's the youngest of Nicholas,Dad's brother.Uncle Nick is 85, the oldest. He, my father Al, uncle Joe 78 all still golf together . Sometimes baby brother Andy, age 68, like me and his father, from Fla.wow what a foursome. Six of the original eight were all here this weekend for a service. My mother who died 5 yrs ago had 13 siblings. All together I had 40 aunts and uncles. Million cousins.

  • My father's name is Alfred (Alfonso) Dominic Ligammari. He is 83, born March 20 or 21 (midwife?) 1924 in Niagara Falls, NY. Believe it or not he too was a plasterer right after WWII 82nd Combat Engineers. His parents were Andrea and Mary both borh in late 1900s. Pa died in 84 Gramma died in 91. I've heard of your father from other relatives. My dad went on to become a building inspector for the city of Niagara Falls, NY where he still lives.
