Saw her live last week at The Stables, England. Bought the CD. Awesome talent. The trumpet players are something else - lovely old 'late night' muted sounds. Makes a change from saxes. See her live if you get the chance - she doesn't do many live gigs due to her injuries. Gutsy lady. Respect.

I never heard of MG until by chance I was listening to her interview on NPR. Something in her voice just grabbed me. Later on I found 'Worrisome Heart' conveniently downloadable from Amazon (a good deal at $5.99). Being playing it over and over again.

That is one live performance I'll love to attend (preferrably in some darkly lit night club where I can snuggle up with my honey when we see MG plays).
