Funny thing in the Streets of Rage 1 remake is fighting Shiva with a 1 min restriction after MR.X in order to escape the complex before an explosion.

Man, I hated the non-Jap version of the game. The furthest I got, I think, was to Break in Round 3. So I decided "screw it, I'll get the Japanese ROM for it! I can at least complete that". Also, did you know there are some unreleased Bike stages if you put in a special Stage Select game genie code? I think they show up distorted though. But that may be for the American/European versions of the game...

Not only that, but also you remember when Shiva was dropping off goons from the Boat in the first level? Well, in the Japanese version, at that point, Shiva is replaced by a homo called Ash, who you eventually fight before moving on to fight Shiva at the end of the level. :P He's hilarious to fight. You should try it!!
