  • Everybody likes a good bluejob once and a while

  • i did that once and it fell out the window

  • everybody is making a blue job joke. do they mean blow job? nice. anyway. does it matter if there is already bluing on the gun? and what if there is a part of the gun you cant touch but you need blued

  • I would love a good blue job!

  • Can this be applied to handgun railings so it slides better? My handgun railing seems to stick and it makes it hard to cock the gun. Or should I just oil it?

  • @freakman420 The Gun Blue does not add any lubrication to the surface. However, you can use our Disotec XFR lubricant on your slide rails. It also prevents corrosion and does not attract lint, sand and powder residue.

  • My girlfriend gave me a really good blue job while I was watching this. Didn't see any crud though!

  • Uh huh huh uh huh huh , he said blue job,

  • Who doesn't like a good Blue Job.

  • Steps for a good Blue Job

     1. Clean the barrel really good! 2.Shake well and when its ready, apply the gel. Use that $100 bill if you want to. 3. Keep rubbing to get that perfect Blue Job! ;-) It's like developing a picture. ( A picture I dont want to see)!!!

  • they must have edited out the part where he spills the chemicals on himself and says "I blue myself"

  • Superb product and easy to use....! My gun looks like it was professionally refinished.. Thank you...

  • man my ex girlfreind gives a great blue job but she always complaind about the mess after though... lol sorry about my spelling.

  • I hate when I don't get a "really good blue job"

  • i used it on my ww2 mg42 and it worked fine, even sold it for more money than i bought it.

  • I dont want him to give my pistol a blue job!!!

  • Why don't you just sell the gold and silver and buy a new gun.

  • I love a good blue job.

  • 1:41 Remember, you want a real good blowjob when you do this.

  • @moparmat360

Hopefully you oiled the whole gun with good gun oil after you blued it.

  • The product looks interesting, but the pistol should have been proven un-loaded.

Handling the weapon with out visual proof is very creepy even to watch.

    This is an incomplete procedure.

  • Blue job lol This is only the bluing stuff I have used that works.

  • I've been building up a 1911 pistol from scratch piece by piece and Its a carbon steel gun with NO Finnish and CAN be blued, but I was wondering how exactly I would get blue into crevices and places like where the magazine go in.

  • @ssadriank You can use a Q-Tip to work it in, or a small paint brush.

  • @BPNovum Hello, Im starting out a Gun Channel and will try to post high quality video's. If you would be so kind as to check my channel out and subscribe, that would help me out alot. Thank you for your time. -Noah

  • ROFL. Blue job.

  • BLUE-JOB. lmao.

  • Blue Job LOL

  • Nice stuff. Very good work. like your style. I trust ya, even though you are selling me...I will buy this to keep my rifles tip top.

  • I have used this product several times. It's probably the worst cold blue I have ever used. One rifle turned green after 2 days, another streaked badly, and a 3rd just wouldn't leave an even finish. It isn't as easy as the video presents. I have used several products that work a lot better.

  • @carbine85 Like what products? I want to re-blue an old Bersa Model 85 that was given to my father and then to me. Apparently it's pretty old because I can't even find a extra magazine for it. Anyway, what is the best product on the market for re-blueing? let me know. GuilfoyleJJ@cableoneDOTnet. Obviously the DOT is a period. Thanks.

  • I have a tagheur replcia watch that should ahve shipped with a graphite balck finish and came in a high, high shine steel, that looked like chrome...Compeltely wrong finish for this tag watch...the new flat black is all the rage with this guys...so I was looking at these youtubes on gun bluing to see If I could try that to bring done that tacky chrome look. Then I had a simple idea. I just used a black wide tip sharpy on the metal, good and thick and then buffed it down and touched up. Perfect.

  • How do you say BLUE JOB without cracking a smile? lol

  • i love a really good blue-job.... ;]

  • lol, blue job.

  • i want my shot gun havew a silver barel

  • crappy video quality

  • I have used this many times with good result. To prevent the steel to rust further you have to neutralize the process. After you have used the developer, degrease it and apply boiling water. Take the part up from the water and careful apply baking soda. NO rubbing. Apply gun oil and remove all the white baking soda.

  • @Andreas191280 Will be one heck of a process, ain't it?

  • @moparmat360 this company sounds fishy to me just like every others that is radicaly different then the style that works i tend to stay far away from them, this is the reason why, (sorry to hear about your shotgun) i mean the normal way to blue a rifle is warming it up in hot water not torching it which will unevenly heat up the barrel possibly causing problems!

so now that you have this problem, they will act lke they want to help but they wont (most likely)

they should get you another shotgu

  • He never said what he charges for "a good blue job". Where i live prices vary.

  • hahaha fuck! i wasnt first to the blue job jokes...

  • Can i have a "real good blue job"?

  • haha "blue job"

  • @BPNovum

I followed the directions to a T, i oiled and waxed everything heavily before camping and during camping. it still rusted. not interested in dong anything more with BW..I will only use the cleaner, i do like that stuff except it smells like cat piss when heated my wife says lol!

  • i love me a good blue job

  • ive got an old mossberg 320ka will this stuff actually work on it?

  • A Dirty Gun Will Keep You From Getting A Good BJ? BUY BLUE WONDER!

  • A white shirt would have been a better choice for a background

  • @derrickstrange2009

Not correct. 000 is too coarse. Use only 0000.

    I work for Blue Wonder.

  • @wafishingfools Did you neutralize the bluing after it cured?

  • @Mark5043

followed the instructions to a T, meticulously.

  • @Mark5043

    yes.

  • im not so interested in the bluing but the cleaner and i have a mosin-nagant 91/30 and my question is will this clean out all of the copper and salts from my corrosive ammunition

  • @HoodRanger101

Yes, you will be amazed how well it does on the corrosive ammo.

  • BLUE will not do fuck all to protect metal, it is purely cosmetic. you just didint oil it.

  • I used this with somewhat good results. However I dont have much faith in the company. I had asked a question via email with no answer. I will attempt a different product next time. Id rather take my money else where.

  • @bubbacrabb

I never received your email. Please send it again to bprice@bluewonder.us

  • more of a commercial than a instructional video, I want my ten minutes back

  • I really enjoy Blue Wonder products. First the gun cleaner is awesome. I've purchased many guns in need of some serious cleaning. Blue Wonder sticks to barrels and does a great job removing old gunk. Just remember to clean it off well since it does have a water base.

Second, the bluing works as well if not better than Perma Blue. The real difference IMHO is the ease with getting a consistent finish. Perma Blue usually comes out streaky and varied in darkness. Seriously, well worth the money.

  • can i just touch up small parts with this? i painted my mossberg 500 with spray paint, is it easy to sand off and reblue?

  • LETS BLUE THIS!

  • I love the point at the end!

Oh and can I have a Blue job as well?

  • Wow those dark blue smudgy pixels look amazing!

  • i like that where can i find that blue wonder

  • @bluejay148 shop.bluewonder.us

  • "This is what keeps people from getting a real good blue job" :) I want a a good blue job ;)

  • im in need of a good blue job but scared it willl go off in my face, can blue wonder garantee this wont happen

  • My gun needs a real good blue job but I'm afraid of damaging it.

  • yea i could go for a good ol' BLUE JOB right now ;)

  • lol "You want a really good blue-job when you do this." FTW!!

  • ill take a blue job lol

  • hey i have an old Winchester model 1897 and I removed some of the rust off it and the blue IS BRILLIANTLY BEAUTIFUL underneath all that rust but some spots the rust is too deep does this thing leave the same finish?

  • @thetwistofcain It will match the bluing on the barrels. However many of the model 97s use a base metal in the receivers and Blue Wonder will not work on those. It only works on carbon steel.

  • MAn .... I HAVENT HAD A GOOD BLUE JOB IN A WHILE....

  • I Want a blow... Wait what's that?... oh he said blue jobI

  • i want a blue job haha

  • @tenaciousj95 damn i thought i was the only one thinking "blue job", i have just lost my faith in humanity...

  • He, just said Weatheryby....make up your mind !

  • @carypappass actually, you don't have to. You can match many shades of bluing with Blue Wonder Gun Blue.

  • Lol, how did I know someone was going to say that weeeeeeeeeeeee :)

  • Blue job

  • "You want a real good bluejob"

    lul, I'm so immature.

  • " a really good blue job"...lmao

it's like blow job with an accent xD ....jk

  • theres lots of things that keep me from getting a really good bluejob :(

  • I love when I get my blackcock blew jobbed!

  • nothing like a good bluejob

  • can you use it on the glock slide

  • blue job lol

  • Now, we're gonna wipe it. And it gets the crud off. Now this is what keeps people from getting a really good blew job. Now remember, we want a real good blew job when we do this. So first thing we're gonna do is clean the area we're gonna blew. Now... This is what you gotta do... You gotta shake it well.

  • this works as advertised!

  • LoL Blowjob not bluejob

  • I did my Dads shotgun barrel two months ago and it looks great. It did a very nice job. I did 6 coats. All my friends like it!

    Thanks!

  • i love getting a blue job lol

  • A lot of reviews I read online said it does not wear well and rusts very quickly compared to factory hot blue. It sure looks nice in super low definition video though I have to say.

  • Just wondering if this would also work on a blank firer?? I know they aren't made of the same high grade of metal, so would it be usable? I have an Umerex 1911 that is painted black and (for re-enactment purposes) would like to make it look a little more like the real deal.

  • Yes you can use it. I´ve been using it on my mauser and it looks great!

    Cheers

    Michael

  • any fumes with this product?

  • I payed for the blow job but ended up with a rusty trombone , : (

  • I always found that a good stripper makes a blue job much better.

  • lol a really good blue job at 1:40

  • why does he point at us at the very end of the video lol

  • hmm, a quick and easy blue job.

I wish this guy was at my gun store to stroke my barrel.

  • lol niccccce.....lol

  • can you tell the difference in hot blue and this process?

  • @gruntspy44

If you folllow the directions, the process is undetectable.

  • @gruntspy44 This product produces produces a finish that looks and wears as close to hot blue as you can get without firing up the salt tanks.

  • Whats the cost to have a rifel barrel done!

  • @MYFreeSpeach4U

The 2 oz Gun Blue Kit is approximately $20

  • Would this work well on a knife I am getting a knife made of A2 steel and want to stop any chance of rust between lubricating.

  • @MYFreeSpeach4U A 2 oz Gun Blue Kit is approx $20.00

  • Man only $15 bucks for a real good blue job!

  • where can i buy this

    =p

  • hahah good blue job! too bad your really cant see it with the quality of the video

  • every one could use a good blue job

  • i have a 1911 and an 870 that both need some lovin but i plan on sandblasting both first. does that change anything or do i still do as the demo says?

  • This guy gives good blue jobs :)

  • my mauser bolt needs a good blue job :D

  • Go to a gun store and say " I want a Blue Job!"

  • Wow, that's a lot simpler than the process I used. After I tried rebluing a couple small patches of rust-struck metal on my barrel, it looked worse than before. It had that "oily" look, with the weird colouring when you put it in light. And the degreaser dribbled down my barrel because I had it upside down on a slant. Now there's a light streak on the top of my barrel : >(

  • where can i get one of these blue jobs?

  • i could use a good blue job

  • look at all the comments .. come on

  • @guitarhero30 who couldn't?

  • @guitarhero30 A good bluejob always makes you feel better.

  • LMAO guys

  • And oh yeah... blue job is hilarious.

  • My lil carbine could use a good blue job

  • hahaha blue job

  • Great vid! And I agree with the fellas.... nothing beats a good blue job!!!!

  • I would kill for a proper buejob right now..

  • where can I get one of them there BLUE JOBS!!!!!

  • A real good blue job sounds wonderful.

  • I'd pay good money for a real good blue job.

  • remember you need a real good bluejob

  • i want a bluejob too!!

  • falloutdude222 has made a comment

hey guys, what process/product do you recommend for taking the metal down to bare, before the blue job with blue wonder? i'm thinking of doing my m1 carbine shooter, but want to know what to strip the parkerizing/bluing off with? do you guys make a stripper that wont conflict with any of the products, or can i use another brand? obviously, will have to do the heat and clean after and before the bluing starts. also, should i do any polishing before hand?

  • Sorry Fallout, I accidentally deleted your posting. Glad I could put it back.

As to the answer to your question... Yes, we make the Blue Wonder Blue Removal System quickly remove the old bluing. Do not use the BC brand blue remover as it is incompatible with our products. Our Blue Remover easily strips the old finish and leave the metal chemically prepped for the Gun Blue or Gun Black process. Good Luck... would love to see your Before/After pics.

  • hehe, thats ok. cool i'll give it a go, will absolutely send before after pics :)

  • great vid

  • blue job hahahahahahahahahahhaahhaah

  • yeah, that does look nice... but why would you even recommend using steel wool to remove rust, when the wool will just leave Fe debris that'll oxidize later on; even if you have the gun blue enamel over it? that would be nice to use on lets say your favorite guns but, it has to be expensive w/ gold & silver solute in it, how much for 1 bottle?

  • The Gun Cleaner removes the "debris" you refer to. We have never had a problem with this step of the instructions. But thank you for your comments. As for the cost... a 1 oz kit is $15. Not bad for a finish that will rival a factory blue ey?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry it won't work on stainless. Only on carbon steel.

  • they need a hottie in a mini skirt advertising free blue job demos.

  • Will's not hot enough for ya? :-)

  • i love me some blue jobs.

  • Nothing beats a good BLUE JOB

  • Did anyone really use this on a gun and hunt with it. I used Perma blue and the gun came out great but when i went bird hunting it rained. By the time i got home there was alittle rust when i cleaned the blue came off. Now i have a speckled gun. If anyone has used this and hunted hard with the gun after please contact me.

  • Great question birdhunter! Hopefully someone will answer this from a customer's viewpoint. But for now, Blue Wonder Gun Blue will give you a finish that wears like the factory finish. This product has been on the market since 2002 and was reviewed in the NRA's American Rifleman and American Hunter. They were very impressed with the durability. They spent over a year testing it prior to publishing the article.

    Thanks for your question!

  • lol blue job, what a champ. im gunna give this stuff a go, it looks the goods, and my garand barrel is crying for it

  • I could also go for a nice blue-job as well. And maybe finish it off with a nice rack of the slide.

  • lol, well played sir

  • Hahaha.

    Blue Job.

    That's epic.

  • hahaha... he says "Blue Job" then wipes down a long rod.

  • fire the camera man

  • We did.

  • lol blue job

  • Can you do this with Stainless steel armor? And dos it prevenet rusting?

  • Blue Wonder Gun Blue will NOT work with stainless steel. It will only work on carbon steel.

Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner WILL work on stainless steel to remove rust, stains or carbon buildup.

  • hey im kinda new to this whole bluing thing but my grandpa died and i got his mossberg 500 and there is a little rust on the barrel so will the blue wonder cleaner really work to remove rust and do i need to use a hair dryer if im just useing the cleaner

  • its different..I will be lookin

mg out for your product..no buffing,,,,

  • Haha, I can't help laughing at "getting a really good blue-job"...

  • I'm always lookin for a real good blue job.

  • A really good blue job sounds good right now.

  • I am sold on this product!!! I'm going to reblue my k31!

  • This would be good on homemade tools.

  • Only if they are carbon steel. But yes, it would.

  • Hi,

has anyone used this stuff on a scotty cameron putter??? Is it avaiable in the UK?

    Thanks

  • I had a shop in the US refinish my Newport 2 and it looks wonderful! Not sure if they sell this product in the UK, but you may want to look into alternative methods.

  • I hunt the swamps in fl.

My guns aways get littel rust spots

and yes I'm going to get the kit

    thanks

  • If you are hunting in the swamps you need to put Blue Wonder Armadillo on the barrel to prevent rust. Even in salt water!

  • Thanks, I will pick some up. Nothing like a winter project to keep busy.

  • Excellent. I have the product but have yet to try it on an old Remington Model 11. If reblueing a whole gun, should all the old blue be removed first for Blue Wonder to give a uniform look? Or will it blend right in if I leave the old blue on?

  • If you are rebluing the entire gun, I would recommend you remove the old bluing completely. This will allow you to "prep" the surface properly for the best results. We make a "Blue Removal System" that quickly removes the old bluing, leaving the metal ready to blue.
