  • Spot on with the comment about playing Taxman up higher on the neck. I've tried playing it on the A and G strijngs, and it just doesn't sound the same.

  • Thanks, very interesting, and it seems to make more sense to use the 5th fret due to use of the low G, but then to move to the 10th for the middle bit.

  • Very nice, logical version.. Some people on YT play it on 10th fret (did not get why), but yout interpretation is clear and simple. I think McCartney always tried to play simple and rich melodies (at the same time) on bass. I am impressed, your playing is great !

  • is that a chris squire ric?

  • Nice job.....Check out a kid from France that goes by "Frenchytouch". He plays the Beatles (all the parts) and is especially great on McCartney's bass lines. He's worth a look.

  • Thank you for sharing your take on Taxman, I think it's spot on. Hope you can share some other covers as well.

  • You look like Keith Moon. Maybe you should switch to drums.

    Just jokes. Nice playing.

  • great tone.

  • Great playing !. Is it possible to specify the notes your playing? I got something like d c d octive higher c a c d c a. Thanks

  • Great playing!!. could you specify what notes your playing?
