To all those people who have nothing better to say about this man than evil, horrible things; YOU are the problem America has today. You are unpatriotic, lazy, entitlement fat liberals. This man has solutions, not a burning desire to take America down to its knees!
Being a good speaker and a being a good leader are two different things. However, I want some one from Republican who can make Obama nervous to run for the presidency.
That man is a patriot! I hope he changes his mind and runs for president, if he does, he may turn this country around and be one of the best presidents ever. He will send Obama, George Soros, Harry Reid packing for their final airforce one flight back to Kenya, that would be well worth the kind of deficit spending!
ladies and gentleman,, meet the next president of the USA ...what a difference when we have become so used to Bush and Obama and finally someone with intelligence speaks..
Christie seeks more federal control over our children's education; continued entanglement in the affairs of foreign nations; the need for people to "sacrifice" (sound familiar?) but not a word about individual Liberty. Not a word on Obama overreaching his Constitutional authority; nor about illegal wars abroad; no criticism of the Patriot Act. Christie appears to be just one more slick-talking neo-con, seeking greater government control over The People.
Did you notice at 8:50 that the rubes start applauding, unaware that Christie is still quoting Obama?
Read between the lines This media darling is just another scumbag totalitarian. Like Obama, Bush, McCain, Perry, and on and on, he believes in bombing foreigners and centrally planning the economy for the benefit of the banksters and corporatist elite. Laugh at him and walk away.
@dragnet53 What does this have to do with Zionism? What? I think the media is scared of Ron Paul... But I am not sure what you are trying to say here...

@laffin2much How the HELL can you call yourself a libertarian when you think it is ok for us to go into a country and overthrow their government, control their borders, and install their system of law? That is the OPPOSITE of libertarianism. I am not saying Ron Paul is perfect, because libertarianism isn't perfect. In regards to his morals, what probelm do you have with his morals? @beest909 Oh, I wish u would reconsider. Think of this; The president should be the most principled out of both Executive & Legislative branches. This way, he truly represents the voting base of America as a whole. We need a President who can stick 2 his guns ESPECIALLY when shit gets rough. The Congress is suppose 2 be the sellout, not OUR president! Try not to use terms like extreme & moderate because they are used as a labeling distraction. Instead, ACTUAL positions ntb used 4 serious debate!
@thejoolien I don't think extreme and moderate are distracting labels. If you listen to Christie talk about his union healthcare negotiations, he explains how he compromised with Dems over issues that he felt were debatable (such as concessions in funding their healthcare pool), while sticking to his guns on particular changes he felt were essential (such as requiring higher premiums). This is what a good executive does.
@beest909 But He is the PRESIDENT he doesn't answer to anyone (supposedly), he's the guy at the top. If he veto's something for whatever reason, the bill can still pass w/o the president if necessary. This is why we can call our reps, so we can tell them our concerns. Take this example. Ron Paul is pro-life, however he does not support a federal regulation on abortion because it is unconstitutional. So, if it came across his desk he would veto and it wouldn't be hard to get 2/3 of Congress.
It's not. Americans already think Republicans are better at creating jobs than Democrats, and I bet a lot of them are thinking RINOs and moderates, not necessarily orthodox tea party people.
How refreshing to hear someone speak from the heart and not be told what to say via the "ever-present" teleprompter. I really don't care what size waist he has. At least we know who would wear the pants in a Christie White House......... That sounds pretty good. The Christie White House.
@5heneverlies That is exactly correct. If his camp thought he had ANY real chance at winning a state-wide election in TX, there's no question he would have campaigned for the soon-to-be open Senate seat currently held by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson.
Ironically, he might've been a formidable candidate, considering all the money he can squeeze out of his nat'l network of Paulunteers. Benton probably figured since he won't win either race, might as well rake up the big money in a pres. campaign.
@SirSpoon84 Let's see how New Jersey looks after 4 years of Christie's leadership before we start nominating him for President. We just made the mistake of electing someone who didn't even complete one term in the Senate and look at the cluster-fuck Obama has turned out to be.
"New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie hasn't changed his mind: He reaffirmed in a speech at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Tuesday that he's not running for president."
@fivestarmichael Point taken, but I would be more comfortable with two years of effective, gutsy executive leadership over two years of voting present as a no-show legislator.
@RV6Pilot Don't get me wrong, I like Chris Christie, I have been watching him since the beginning of his career and so far I am impressed. However, we should see how well his agenda unfolds. How much will he accomplish by the end of his term? He has been dealing with the most corrupt and intransinent legislature in the country, if he can get something done after 4 years I will be impressed and he will definitely be ready for the Whitehouse in 2016.
@five star michael @Moviejay1 This guy speaks truth, you like obama's fairy tale economics of screw the corporations and the rich. I have never been employed by a poor person nor has anyone you know. Those who think class warfare is strategy to create jobs are stupid. Companies will just down size or cash in. Taxing big business and the rich will not put a dime in your pocket. It will further hurt this nation. EVERYONE knows it is. Obama's big government is raping the tax payer to buy votes.
@fivestarmichael My bets on Christie in four years. That is if the U.S. is able to survive the four years of an Obama. Rember we would be better of with a slime covered rock in the white-house than an Obama. Obama; such a petty little man who's shown to be totally worthless.
So, it's okay to elect a junior senator with no real stand-alone political leadership, but not a man like Christie who doesn't expect lofty rhetoric to carry him into office? The difference between these two men couldn't be more staggering. Obama proclaimed 'History will see this as the moment we healed the planet,' while Christie has only ever told people hard truths. Obama doesn't think people can handle the truth, while Christie expects each person to do their part.
...that said, a big part of me agrees with you...lol They are entirely different men, leaders, politicians, and people, but we can't afford to take another chance on someone who 'talks pretty'. However, I'm not exactly inspired by any of the current candidates, either. What choice do we really have? Romney and Gingrich are too representative of the old GOP (establishment conservatives), Perry, Bachmann, and Paul are insane (Paul isn't electable), no likes/cares about Santorum or Huntsman. Cain?
Yeah...I'd maybe vote for Herman Cain, but based on your criteria, every candidate, including Obama, is much more politically experienced than Cain...maybe that's the problem; maybe we don't NEED a career politician in office. Maybe we could use a guy like Cain. Maybe crony capitalism IS the problem, DOES have a negative impact on the 'invisible hand' of the free-market, and is a major reason our economy is in the tank. That, or maybe we should all stop expecting government to fix a damn thing.
I agree to a certain extent....However, Christie has already proved himself to make good on his promises. I wish we could wait to see his career blossom but we need someone NOW' that can move things along in the Federal Government. I'd be willing to gamble on Christie over any of the other contenders.
@fivestarmichael Here's an interesting fact: 99 years ago, in 1912, we elected an inexperienced NJ governor named Woodrow Wilson. He was one of our best Presidents, and won WWI. It's not that Christie or Obama are inexperienced, or it shouldn't be. It's more about the man and his positions. That's what this race SHOULD be about!
@fivestarmichael Difference between a candidate Christie (if he decides to get in) and a candidate Obama is that Christie is a proven leader, Obama was not a proven leader and still can't seem to get it together.
(and I believe Teddy Roosevelt served as governor less than Christie.... just sayin)
Fat fuck.

NJ looks ok so far. There was one year of bad cuts and then NJ seems to have been left largely alone.

(and I believe Teddy Roosevelt served as governor less than Christie.... just sayin)
