Thank you so much for posting this...it totally helps; am a 40 year old man on my way to get my hip finally fixed. I have been in excruciating pain from athritis for a long time and finally decided to do this to feel better. I am freaking out but am sure will be great! Your video very encouraging :o)

thanks for posting this series. i am post op day 6 and have a birmingham hip. today i am feeling abit better, but the first couple of days are challenging. exciting to know that overall the outcome will be great, but difficult being patient, managing meds, etc. i had the choice of going home or going to a facility. i opted going home. Thanks for sharing your experience. It gives me some idea how to look ahead. Hope that now you're >1 yr you're really better than ever! Best wishes to you

Thanks for posting this vid. I'll be having my left hip replaced on Feb 9, 2010. I can not WAIT to have it done, the pain has gotten so severe.
