Ecthompson, there is (was) no chemistry between the two. This is why Todd said what he did. And now, after the election we find out, THERE WAS NO CHEMISTRY. Huh, Todd was righ on!

Todd might've saved himself a longwinded studdering exsplanation by simplely holding up an Obama sign, sucking his thumb, and talking straight about how much he and his network are in the tank for their great leader.
Obama Biden seem close and have between the 2 great economics and foreign policy mcCain some foreign policy blew it on economics he so doesn't get it and Palin can shop
My belief is that hate is used freely with Sarah Palin is because prior to her arrival on the scene we had a presidential race. Since she arrived on the scene her every word has incited rage and unleashed hatred in the republican base, but what is worse is her deliberately dividing this country into us and them.
She does not bring America together in a healthy and positively contentious presidential race; she uses her nonsensical words to tear us apart, maybe irreparably.
Condoleezza rice is light years ahead of palin. McCain should have picked Rice if she was willing.
There IS no chemistry between them. Everyone in the McCain camp is holding their breath every time Palin opens her mouth. I've never seen anyone so unqualified for the job she is seeking.
I totally agree with you. Condoleezza Rice have a Ph.D in foreign policy and on top of it, she is the one having to deal with rogue State leader everyday. So she knows.
Duh, I thought Lieberman was supporting McCain because he's white and Powell was supporting Obama because he's black. You mean that's not the case?
As for Palin's non-existent, executive experience; she lucked up and was elected Governor, from that point on her staff carried her -- That's the extent of her "executive experience".
Now talk about double standards, Secretary Rice would never have gotten away with such mediocrity, yet the GOP gives Palin a pass for utter stupidity.
McCain will not let go on her own anymore. That's how afraid he is of her. Cause when she was alone she agreed to release her medical records. There is something in those records that the McCain campaign doens't want us to see. She's such an idiot.
Trig is Bristol's, not Sarah's. The records will show that Sarah didn't give birth during that time. I've been pix of that period, Sarah is flat while Bristol had a little belly.
Why wouldn't we want to sit down with our "enemies" and have a conversation? I feel it's better to resolve issues through diplomacy instead of dropping bombs on them. A statesman like Obama can mend fences and fix our image in the world.
I watched bits of this interview this morning on TODAY. What I noticed from Brian Williams is that he mentioned many times how long he had to wait for this interview and how short his interview time was. It is obvious his view on McCain/Palin. I wish these news people would stop using their position as a tool to express their views. Just give it to me straight bud.
I have heard some people say this "Vote for Obama if its for the economy or Vote for McCain if for the war." I honestly think that if we vote for Obama, the economy will go down farther. And if we vote for McCain, well if he dies we are gonna have a not very bright woman president. But then again, I think people just expect to much from her.
Palin although friendly it is just not ready; it is important that a potential President wanting to be in charge of America be well prepared.
Look how well you write, would you consider yourself capable of the job? Palin however cannot even form a proper sentence without cue cards. Believe me, without knowing you or Palin personally, I'd vote for you first.
You do get the feeling that McCain just doesn't like Palin. She has gone "off message" too much, and I think she will come out of this looking much much better than McCain when this is over. With the GOP base, I mean.
Why is the word hate slung around so freely these days. I respect anyone who says they don't agree with someone or they don't feel they're ready to be President, but why all the hatred? I'm simply baffled by this.
Chuck Todd seems a hysterical idiot who can't shut up. The interview he's talking about certainly shows McCain spending a lot of his time either clenching his fists or wringing his hands. Todd missed that. Palin was much more at ease.
On the other hand, neither Williams nor Todd seemed to pick up the Palin mistake. Ahmedinajad is not a dictator. He's an elected official and former mayor of Tehran, the Wasilla, possibly, of Iran. Central power resides elsewhere in the country.
don't get me wrong i hate both mccain and palin but why in the hell would she agree to release her medical records? who does that? and why would hardball even ask that?
I agree that Chuck Todd is usually very careful when discussing the candidates. He always comes across, imo, as a neutral commentator. Also, did you notice how Sarah Palin answered the question when Brian Williams asked her what she meant by preconditions. She completely failed. Look closely at John McCain's face as she tries to answer the question - priceless.

Its because Senator Biden released his medical records. Hence the reason they inquired whether she will release her medical records.
nhats1016 3 years ago
Just part of the process. Candidates usually release their medical records and taxes.
