I get the feeling that Jean Jacques Perrey's body of work inspired many a musician to go on to write instrumental music for Anime, 川井憲次 most notable among them. A lot of the OST for Ranma 1/2 screams J.J. Perrey... although the man did also have some mean guitar chops.

The music of Perrey had big influence on Japanese animation music.

They actually do! I can also imagine hearing this song being played on old cartoon television shows.

７０年代当時は色々なCMにも使われていた様ですね。遊園地とか­子供向け自転車とか‥。

最近ではアメリカの方で某アニメ番組のエンディングテーマにも使­われていると聞きました。まさに時代を超えた名曲だと思います。­
