@GnosticMedia No, stop being so stuck up and smug by assuming. Id obviously choose to have them legal over illegal i was just being optimistic there buddy...
No Jan, the cotton gin was invented many, many years before. It was just refined and more important to this myth, PATENTED around that time.
On a side note the scumbag who patented the cotton gin after making a slight improvement then went around suing all the cotton gin manufacturers THAT WERE ALREADY ESTABLISHED for using "HIS PATENTED DESIGN".
Patents/Intellectual Property are bullshit, there are several Mises Institute lectures on here proving it.
Yea, I can't smoke it either Cliner. I frankly can't stand the stuff. Heart races and pounds like crazy and like a full blown anxiety attack. And those are not purely mental effects as I hear so many sayinf. It's physical/body chemistry issue. I agree not everyone is sutied to it. Has no good effects on me whatsoever. However, even with that being the case, I know it does not do that to everyone so I think it ought to be legalized and those who choose to use it and like it, can.
Cotton farmers and early drug companies had a say in it too... the early beginnings of "the Corporation". They knew they couldn't hold a monopoly on something people could grow in their backyards.
AHHHH! When the oil men decided to use oil instead of marijuana in products, they made it illegal to have it. :( Making them millionaires and stamping out the competition. I wish I could use marijuana for some medical problems I have. Damn them for keeping it from us.
Right on dude. They claim that drug traficking supports Terrorism, mean while the CIA brings in the largest amount of Heroin, and cocaine regularly. OIL supports terrorism and they just love ripping us off at the pump. But I have to correct you on one thing: Marijuana and Hemp are not excatly the same thing. Marijuana and Hemp are both CANNABIS plants. We have to push for Legalization of CANNABIS, not just marijuana and not just hemp.
LET THESE FUCKERS KEEP MUSHROOMS AND WEED ILLEGAL.
As long as both are illegal, they are money trees in my closet ;)

they had the crean of the crop when they needed it, once things had moved on with newer technology it was outlawed , so the monopoly can continue.

Greenback dollars are 24% hemp paper.
Back in the '90s, I used to stamp all my ones and tens with the "I GREW HEMP" dialoge baloon. In green/black ink!
I think I'll get them stamps back out. I'm so glad Hemp, the Humans plant, still has good people fighting for reason and sanity! Rick.

Cannabis was growing in North America for thousands if not millions of years before the Europeans showed up. It grows over most of the world.
The Native Americans were already smoking Cannabis when the Europeans came over. All the Explorers did was introduce their own Europe homegrown.
Just to correct a few things. Other than that I love the interview.
