That's cool and all, but like... What's the point? We have the same thing in the States. No one even really enjoys going to them except old ladies with nothing better to do with their lives. They're rather boring.

@tylrfshr12 Difficult to square what you write with the evidence I have witnessed: many hundreds of young people having a riotously good time for weeks on end. There are swing dance camps in the USA, yes, and all round the world, but Herrang is the biggest and longest, and is something rather special.

@TheOrangePanda After Swedes, this year, the most common nationality there was Lithuanian. Lots of good dancers from there. Great swing dance scene in Vilnius now.

@TheOrangePanda Indeed, I have been to Vilnius and had a very good time. Beautiful clean Baroque centre surrounded by a sea of communist concrete. I stayed in Šeškinė, and spent a few days doing all the art galleries and museums. That, and lots of swing dancing, of course.
