I don't really play Street Fighter IV nor do I chose big, burly characters when I play fighting games (I usually use chicks.)

But for some reason I love using Balrog in SF IV and I have you to thank for that. His punches look and sound so devastating, its awesome to obliterate someone with him and punch their lights out. While I don't plan to go pro in SF IV, these vids will help me hang with local crew and surprise a few people. Thanks for taking the time for making these vids, hope for more.

@Invin86rs I gotta disagree bro. I main Rog too, but its not the character, its the person behind the character who makes them tick. If a person sucks with yun or sagat they wont beat sumone who is nice with rog. But i do understand ur point tho

Sorry, Rog is just not close to top tier in AE. It's based solely on rushdown and Rog cant do it. It hurts me, I main rog :(

@undeadsato Totally agree with that, I mained rog and still do, and never let him down , cause he has so much trap to scare his opponent :D Beside that, he has different "playing styles" and that's why he's so interessant !!

I dont know about you but I'm going to keep playing with him because he's one of my favorites not because of his advantages in the game.

@NanmanTheGreatOne What is a fierce jab? He lost range on his stand jab and his jumping Fierce. He lost damage on his anti air C. Fierce by 20. Fierce headbutts nerfed from 140 to 100. His Jumping RH damage was nerfed. All combos are weaker by atleast 25 damage. Im not saying he sucks, I just dont think he's in the top 8 of tiers. Of course I can win with him but thats online. Bring him to larger tournaments and see how he does.

@Invin86rs Fierce jab is his heavy normal punch attack. A couple attacks may be slightly weaker but at least you can still do every combo that you know. Would you rather not being able to do some at all? Anyway if Gamerbee can win a tourney with Adon you can win with Balrog no problem.

@Invin86rs I was using Adon as an example. Adon is a low tier character yet someone won a tourney with him. Just shows that just because the character isnt top tier doesnt mean you cant do amazing things with that character.

@Invin86rs He's still really good man, i've had lots of success against the Twins and Fei Long, as well as shit matches like Gief or Dhalsim. It's not the tiers or the statistics, it's the player that makes the character good.

I can't tell you how much I hate balrog. My friend mains him, because of the match where you and Tokido went at it and you won, but damn these videos are nice as hell. I watch them to try and figure out how to use this shit against him haha. ^_^

@MisterSrosis just watch the timing that the rush upper ends if you hit the button and hit it too fast try t delay the punch a little if its the other way try hitting the button faster it just takes time and practice

Zangief's SPD starts in 2 frames, so EX Rush Punch should be safe. Gief's U1 and Super start in 1 frame though.

@grimrazer the reason i didn't put it was because Ex Headbutt doesn't have any good use its just a random thing to throw.

its just invincible all the way but it doesn't have any particular properties or tricks.

couple of extra details: overhead punch on counter hit forces stand, following up a torpedo punch with another jab torpedo punch is a meaty attack if they quick rise, ex dash straight is +1 on hit so you can set up frame traps
