  • Hi Dave;

    I really like what you are doing here. I also work with pendulums. Check out my site on you tube.

    The one thing that most people miss when trying to work with pendulums. Is while it takes a lot of energy to get it to full height. it takes very little energy to maintain that height.

    And, two pendulums the same shape and size but one weighing much more than the other will take exactly the same energy to maintain. NOT one ounce more.

    Good luck in future work Dave Raymond

  • Hey thanks Raymond. I'm working on a colapsing drive shaft to maintain the oscillations using a magnet piston inside a copper tube. The Lenz affect should provide enough push and pull to drive the pendulum while absorbing to much negative pressure. I also plan to capture some of the energy from the moving magnet with a coil over the copper tube.

  • Thanks Steve. I will have a drive unit soon. Time is a premium here, so I do what I can. My family comes first.

    Dave
