Ashcroft was much better when he was on acid 24/7. His new material sounds like Daniel O'Donnell.

Despite the new album not quite living up to the standards of his work in the past, i feel it gets better as you go through the album, There are quite a few tracks that still really have the good old sound we all know and love Richard Ashcroft for, and some others are growing on me.
