  • This system works!!! It is based on technology borrowed from NASA. There are several NAPA auto parts dealers selling the system after trying it on their own personal cars, and at least 1 ford dealer selling it through their service department ( Harwood Ford in Brooks Alberta). So do your research as I did, and you'll find out.

  • Magnets don't work to save fuel. I've has some and it made NO difference. I was stupid to believe in this. It's all a SCAM. Don't waste your money on this gadget. Doing the research after, I found that there is not basis in their claims. I wish I had done my homework before. Gas is not ferrous and is NOT affected by magnetism. These people are shysters.

  • Actually this does work. It can have a negative or positive effect though. People that say it don't obviously don't know what the word research or first had experience means.

  • @trevorhirby No, magnets do not do anything to increase your gas mileage. It's just a scam.

  • This technology has been proven. Just Google fuel line magnets.

  • @hydrophoenixx Better yet. Go the the AAA website and look for fuel savers, including magnetic ones. Their tests prove there is no difference in gas mileage. I wish I had done my homework before buying into this SCAM. I tried it and it did not make any difference. I even tried it out on my brother's car and my sisters to see if there was any difference. They reported that the gas mileage was the exact same with and without them gadget. Total waste of money!!!!

  • If you believe that fitting any sort of magnets to your fuel line will improve fuel mileage in any way you are a No. 1 jerk and you'd believe anything...

  • Let's see your MPG with no cruise and a heavy foot or in traffic/rush hour.

The only fuel savers I use are my foot off the gas, cruise control, and the occasional tuneup and oil change. Keep your tires inflated and changed when needed, your air filter clean, and your engine "clean" by regular oil changes, tuneups and scheduled maintenance with a strong habit of using your cruise control and you're GOING to save gas - along with money in short and long term repair costs.

  • Magnets on your fuel lines? Are you kidding? The only place you might want to place any magnet is near the oil filter - to keep metal particles from fouling your engine and helping the filter catch them.

  • how did you install those magnets

  • There is 3 components which are attached via cable ties to the fuel line, the rad hose, and the air intake piping. It takes about 15 minutes to complete the install and can usually be done without any tools.

  • @epmcanadadotcom But magnets do nothing to increase you gas mileage. Gasoline is non-ferrous and is not affected by magnetism in any way. No, it does not align the gas molecules. Even if it did, there would be no effect on the way the gas is burned. Gasoline in a carburetor or a fuel injector port the gas is atomized into a fine mist to be mixed with air. If the gas were magnetized it would stick to the walls and would not be useful, as it won't mix with the air to burn.

  • Or it would glob together and become less effective even if it could mix with the air.

I was stupid and bought one without doing the research first. I found no difference in gas mileage.

The best way to increase gas mileage is to accelerate gently, use cruise control to maintain speed, properly inflate your tires, and get a tuneup once or twice a year, including a new air filter. Quit peddling gadgets. It's just a big SCAM. BEWARE people, don't waste your money.

  • @epmcanadadotcom Magnets can't affect fuel, as fuel is not ferrous and cannot be affected by a magnetic field. You cannot align the gas molecules, and even if you could, it would make NO difference in the way it burns. This is just another scam, bilking gullible people out of their hard earned money. You should hang your head in shame, but I suspect you're laughing all the way to the bank.
