That depends on who you are. There's definately going to be some unlucky people that gets stuck in a really bad job and is trying to make a living any way they can. But from what I've seen this summer, it's much better than 10 years ago. Now many people are opening their own business and the markets are crazy! China doesn't guarentee things like welfare, and people will do whatever it takes to survive. So not everyone is guarenteed good working conditions or a good pay, but on average it's ok.

hell yes. russia is dead inside, but the truth is in asia it's even worse.. all superficial.
the olympics are idiotic and i care about the human rights abuses china puts these olympic athletes/slaves through more than i care about tibet or freedom of speech, etc.
as if farming athletes wasn't enough they also paid off all the judges..
but olympics is idiotic even if it was 100% fair, and no one used drugs. it has degraded, i wish they would shut it down.
