I use a nail strengthener from Ruby Kisses and it includes Garlic Extract and Vitamin E. It nourishes and strengthens nails. I sue a cream that is also a nail strengthener in which you apply on your nail.

@ZaynaOx It's not, as long as you push them back gently they shouldn't hurt. Another tip would be push them back after you shower, they'll be softer and even easier to push back. :)

@xxJunaixx you cant really feel pain, because it is no pain. I dont know if you mean that it hurts, but it depends how you do it. If you have easy going soft cuticles than use a plastic one or a wooden one. I have stubborn and hard cuticles so i use a metal one.

I cannot go without polish, personally, so I use a combination of taking a Biotin supplement daily and using a nail strengthener as my base coat, followed by Revlon's ridge filler then my polish. My nails stopped peeling and breaking a month after taking Biotin!

What I did: I was bighting my nails A LOT. It was a habit. So, I got a "Stop it!" nail polish(I got mine in shoppers drug mart) and when you bite them, it tastes REALLY bad. I also got a cutical oil too, which helps,too. My docter said it only takes 4 weeks to get out of a habit. So, I put this on every 1-2 days for 4 weeks, and it will evetually look beautiful, I will be able to grow my nails long and do cool designs on my nails!!! Hope this helps!

Great advice in this video!! I'd like to add a couple tips that really help me out greatly. First, I take Biotin daily. It's great for your hair, skin and nails and is one of the main ingredients in the "Hair, Skin, & Nails" supplements! For a lotion I use Vaseline Healthy Hand & Nail since 2003. It has made a drastic improvement in my hands & nails. They're so much stronger/longer now. They advertise within 2wks~nails are 10x stronger...and I can affirm its true! They dont peel or break anymore
