1- until very recently the total nutritional education MDs got in medical school was 2 hours. Nutritional health is an area of huge ignorance and pharmaceutical taught skepticism for MDs.

According to my thyroid specialist (who happens to be a professor, author of medical books and surgeon) my thyroid is destroyed. Dead. If i stopped my thyroxine, i would eventually, DIE. I hear that. I have had this since I was about 9 I believe, I am 21 now and I just had the diagnosis yesterday.

I had 3 thyroid tests, and they told me I was FINE. Then I went to a specialist and they told me yes, my thyroid is fine, but my antibodies are attacking it.
