i got beta at lvl 26 with only 18 heath left after it used better

ei, i noticed a lot are having problems getting beta at a high level for their 3rd/4th enemy skill, here's a technique: use coin amounting 20000 gil=2000 damage, zolom will stand up, then cast fire1 (600+damage) twice or 3x. zolom then casts beta, if i didnt work, try it again. beats me, worked for me at lvl 99. remember not to cast fire with the character also holding the enemy skill or else he'd/she'd get kicked out.. ^^.

ok i learned it on level 15 but because cloud dies i dont have it at the end of the fight this is weird

i dont even know how to use the actual enemy skill, how do you equip it cause everytime on battle is shows enemy skill but you cant use it in action.

@joe0ner This is kind of a late notice but, you need to equip the materia which allows you in learning enemy skills once you've done that if the enemy casts the spell on you or if the spell targets everyone in your party you will learn it. Once you've done that simply press "O" on the E. Skills button and it should be in the list.

Too much level.I took the enemy skill beta the 1rst time I saw Midgar Zolom.

1)Everyone must have limit breaks at full

2)When you have full limit breaks go take a tranquilizer from Kalm and put it to ur chars to have sadness effect(reduces the dmg you take)

3)Put everyone in the back order

4)The char that want to learn Beta should have the accecory Talisman which increases 10% spirit.(Must be Cloud at this point)

5)The second char should have Bio and sense(bio worlks really well)

@LegendFightX on the street you do the annoying ass marching sequence, inside one of the shops is a basement. the enemy skill materia is there.

Beta skill can get at level 18+ if u done with the right skill =D

@MrPwnagestar after you beat the first boss when u have red XIII, or u can get it at the forgotten city, and another one at chocobo sage's dwelling. talk to the chocobo

i did this the first time i saw the snake, b4 u get he chocobo, u use on one player enemy skill with element junctioned to fire in your armor, after he uses it once itl kill everyone but your fire resistant character, he will learn the skill and QUICKLY use it on him for a 1 hit ko, the main problems are the attack that removes a character from battle and after he hits u with beta often he follows up with an attack RIGHT after so u gota use it fast, took me many hours to get but it was worth it

That stupid snake just keeps using physical attacks.. It is already risen up.. So whats wrong? Why doesnt it do beta? o.o

you have to attack it again once it's risen up I think, so when it stands up attack with someone without enemy skill so he flicks them out of the battle and then attack again and he should use it

So you have to use sense on the enemy then you can use enemy skill?

If that's not the case then fuckin tell me, because I've never been able to figure it out.

it has to atack you with beta, and if u have an enemy skill meteria u will learn it, but, did u see what happend before it used beta? it kicked cloud out the party, if it kicks the person HOLDING the E.skill then, kill it and find another, hoped this helpt u out

Back when you were inside Shinra, in Prof Kujo's lab, there was a tank. (the one that had Aeris and Red XIII) If you go inside after the boss fight then there's a yellow materia (Enemy Skill)

Well I heard there are E. Skill Materia in the Temple of the Acients/City of the Ancients and the Chocobo Sage gives you it.

I've been searching walkthroughs and everything but NEVER found out how to get E. Skill command. Anybody know? No Walkthroughs show it.

You can get a Fire Ring in the basement of a building in Costa Del Sol, so you don't even need to learn big Guard to survive Beta.

Agree with you, you can get this enemy skill at level 16-20, you just need around 1,000 hp, aeris, heal, send all to back rown, use elemental+fire on armor, i have done this a lot of times, its a challenge but you can get it, you dont even need big guard, and you can have beta before even visiting junon for the first time, just train a little in the forest near junon and you will get yuffie too.
