  • i want these bars too. did you have to change your cables? or did you just use your stock cables?

  • Where did you get the bars?

  • I got the same bike and was really cosidering put these bars on. Are they comfy? They Look sweet.. Good Job!!

  • Holy run on sentence.

  • do u speak from experience?

  • @Tigersnkoi Thats it mate.................get out your frustration here on youtube. To hard to own up to your true sexual preferences in front of your mates.

  • Sheeeat! I think this black as a nigger on a moonless night Sportster would look really cool with a West Hollywood goo swallower wearing a pink tutu and ruby red slippers hanging on tight to a hairy chested Village People looking dude in a studded leather thong and chaps as they putt putt down Melrose Ave. trolling for sweaty truckers and other deviants play with at their local watering hole, you know the type of place, they usually have names like, "The Manhole," "The Construction Zone," etc.

  • @Tigersnkoi you sound real stupid with your nigger comments...2010...hello

  • those bars were solid trust me....just cause they got recalled doesnt mean they arent tought enough...im sure it was some DOT bullshit that got them recalled but i cant be sure

  • great bike

  • fuck what these haters say man, you bike looks awesome. i dig the frisco's

  • Me too and this vid helped solidify that... mine are on the way. :D

  • I think if youre going to put bars like that, or ape hangers on Nightsters, or Irons, it would look cool to put sissy bars and a big tall back seat on it too, what do you guys think?

  • ....sigh...and i bet your big ass looks dumb walking down the street....

  • Nice bike.

  • Sweet Bike.

  • biltwell bars are sweet. 3 failing out of 800 is not a bad ratio

  • Those bars just got recalled by Biltwell. The welds have been failing.

  • but biltwell completely recalled them and is backin up there quality for every single customer by replacing them.. sooo.

  • sooo what? this public service announcement brought to us by 5Lbennet telling us that Biltwell completely recalled them. Good job. They're still a recalled item aren't they. And as you say, "backin' up there quality" is a statement Lawyers would like Biltwell to tell you. If you buy Garage parts, you get Garage quality.

  • lol wasn't really trying to argue, but I like biltwell stuff, nothin wrong with it. but ok haha.

  • beautiful

  • hey...if your interested ive got some rigid struts for the rear. they lower the bike about 3 inches and look a hell of alot better than the springs do. the struts are biltwell also.

  • yeah...good luck with the hood deal....thats the bracket for the whole front end it seems like..haha. by the way...i dont own the nightster on this video anymore....i traded for a sucker punch bobber....but i miss it though.

  • thanks for all the info! I'll post a video of mine once i get them on. Now I need to find a spoked front rim, get the licks chop shop fender and figure out a way to take the hood off the headlight and remount it. peace

  • nope...everything reached just fine. I actually got rid of the turn signals cause they caused too much clutter. the "frisco" bars dont require much in the way of cables and lines because they only have a 1" pullback...the stock bars are like 10-12" of pull back.

  • Did you have to run new electrical lines for the turn signals, high beams and starter controls??

  • Just ordered a pair of these... I need to get my new lines this week. What length over stock did you run for your new cables? Any chance you ordered the new lines through barnett?

  • you dont need to order any new cables. the only thing i changed was the front brake line. And i went 7" under stock length....yes i said under...trust me...i bought a complete soft line and it was way too long so i ended up going 7" under...any other questions just lemme know.

  • YOU ARE STUPID! Why would you not get any new cables and go 7" under on the brake line? If you keep stock cables and stretch them out like you did the cables are under too much stress and will break without warning. The 7 under on the brake line, on the other hand, i have no idea what the crap youre smokin! No comment on that fag.....but anyone readin the "advice" lag"fag"wagon typed disregard it. Go to someone who knows about bikes or talk to your local HD shop or a custom bike shop.

  • can you believe this idiot...im the one who did the work on the bike and he's telling me...i dont know what he's telling me...im a liar? Grow up man....

  • oh...and incase you cant read...the reason all the cables fit just fine...THE BARS ONLY HAVE 1" OF PULLBACK...but im sure you dont know what that means....im guessing your sporting a pocket bike still.

  • Sweet, I love nightsters!!! Bars look great, comfy???

  • Do you have a link for the exhaust you put on your bike, it sounds amazing!!

  • hey HUGE question, i bought these bars, I have the exact same bike, and Harley dealership said they could not get them to fit because of wiring or something? They would not work without modifications? so I did not get them put on! is this true what did u have to do besides longer cables obviously!?

  • Here is the problem. The bars you bought were probably not dimpled...which is a little indentation on the bottom side of the bars near the grips...this "dimple" is for routing the wiring from the switch housings...basicly it makes clearance so the wires can pass through the clamp part of the switch housings....my bars were the same so i just cut a slot in them so the wires go up into the bars and then back out just past the switch housings...biltwell also offers these bars "dimpled" now also...

  • wait for those lights on the speedo to go out b4 firing that thing up

  • i like the height of the bars, but they seem to close together. i was planning on getting some similar ape hangers in black though, LOVE THE LOOK!

    ride safe!

  • check out BurlyBrand. They make an ape hanger for NarrowGlide front ends. That's what the nighty has. They make them all the up to 18".I put 16's on my nightster.Feels and looks sick.Put your fists in the air.

  • Right on man thanks,

what color is your nightster? i wanted the orange but they said they would have to order it and it wouldn't be in for two months so i just got the black bike they had sitting on the floor. love it, still rolling stock for now (minus the willie G. accents) but i want to throw some apes on there and straight black pipes... not too into chrome, i like the all black look with a few accent peices thrown in.

  • Silver Denim/black.I am painting it soon,to all flat black, and putting vintage tank eblems on it.I did the all the willie g shit to.Wound up getting rid aof all of it for the knurled black stuff from HD.I have V&H side shots in black.Removed the V&H baffles & put a set uf BigCityThunder Monster Baffles in.Way louder and a few more horses.Every 1200N i see has V&H.Look into Bub/Rinehart or Samson, they have some sic stuff 4 the 1200N.Black is the New Chrome.

  • Nice bike. change the rear chrome shocks to black ones then your bike will look wicked!! Ride Hard!!

  • im going to buy black rigid struts from biltwell for it. The bike already rides like a rigid....might as well make it a rigid.

  • Ich finde die Lenkstange scheisse um ehrlich zu sein.

  • nice bars. couple questions... what kind of mirror is that? and did you have to replace the cables? i think the bars are 9" based on biltwell's website. didn't know if stock cables would be too short. sweet bike man.

  • Nice Bike, My Brother and Myself will be picking a couple of them up here in a week or so.

  • sweet bars dude
