The vice has better efficiency, is quieter and has a softer shot. The vice simply shoots better. Why waste my money on a more expensive gun that shoots worse? Plus everyone has egos, I hate shooting the same gun as other people...

It does have a hose which connects to the solenoid, but its still very easy to clean/maintain.

let me tell ya what, I absolutely beat the shit out of my electronic guns. I get shot point blank, slide through dirt, they are absolutely soaked with paint, take insane amounts of abuse, and rarely do I ever break something mechanical or electronic.

Even if you do somehow manage to break it, 99.9% of the time it's covered under warranty. The worst misconception is that electronics make paintball guns less reliable, not true. The paintballs themselves are more fragile than the electronics

Since the "tournament" grade guns have high rates of fire, eyes are there to prevent the gun from firing if they don't see a paintball. The reasoning is that if you didn't have eyes, your gun would try to fire when a ball was halfway in the chamber, with eyes it wouldn't fire until the ball was ready in place. Hope that helps!
