To be a nerd, it is not a Shelby Cobra GT 500. It is a Shelby Mustang GT 500. A Shelby Cobra is a completely different car. The only time the word Cobra is used with a Mustang is the engine.

I had one the same color 30 years ago and the factory interior was white, I changed it to black by swapping it with the interior from a '69 Mach 1 that I had at the same time, it was serial number 25, sure wish I knew where it was now, all I have is great pictures and memories. Nice car!
