yeah but if you use photoshop then its not a suprise. you can edit pictures so they look like you want them to. and after a while it just doesnt look like it normaly was, it looks like how you feel it should look. its about imperfection because a perfect photo gets boring. its not about how you see the world, or want it to look. like "Oh dang it too bad that bus is a few feet off from where I want it to be, I can just edit it later" its about how things should be. storys...

No offense, but :

a) all cameras are unbelievably expensive (especially if one considers they're made of plastic in Hong Kong)

b) it's all part of the same show; be "cool" shoot a lot, and come back to spend more

c) it's not the camera, it's the photographer that makes "cool photos"; all lomo effects can be done with photoshop or the like

d) although there are real lomo masterpieces, most of the pics around are just cows or cats taken with a fisheye lens.

You can get horrible exposures on a disposable film camera, why waste the money on a holga or diana? Heck I invested in a decent camera system, but I could avoid buying one by taking bad photos.

As they mention, its diferent when you can touch and interact with you pieces, unlike digital stuff.
