  • Thank you Rick. I am a Tourism senior at Arizona State University. I have been following you here and there from almost 7 years ago. Great memories and great info! I want to tell you your lectures and series have been very heklpful. I am conducting my oun escorted tour this summer of Italy, Sicily and Greece with ASU students. Thank again for sharing your experience

  • I've read Europe Through the Backdoor and five of Rick's guidebooks (including Best of Europe, Best of Eastern Europe, and several country and city guides), and I still learned something new. Rick Steves is my homeboy, I never could've done my 95-day 50-city tour without him.

  • Awesome video!! Def. keep your eye on your wallet in Vegas with all the street shows. Most mainstream travel sites want you to book your overpriced flight and overpriced hotel. I was wondering what the most economical way to fly.

  • Hey Rick! at 43:39 their is an error, the sign is from Sweden not Denmark...

  • Thanks, Martin. We looked into it, and we now believe the sign is from Norway. The sign reads "Sentralesykhus," which is Norwegian for "central sick house" (hospital). Swedish is "central sjuka hus," Danish is "central syge hus."

  • Awesome Rick, I'm coming to see this in person for the Spring Travel Festival 2010.

  • This is awesome. Thank you for the great lesson.

  • Thanks for the information, Steve!
