i think because of this kind of method of teaching these extremely cute guys, they have become amazing artists and humane people..they are not like the hollywood ones...spoiled and gooey ! :)

I think Hyunseung really didn't fit in the group. They all look like manly hip-hop badasses but Hyunseung has this pretty Flower Boy face with big feminine doe eyes... I think he matches better with Beast.

Bibang is the only boy band that i admire so much. They got the moves, they can beatbox, rap and dance, they are a complete package. No doubt, they got the looks and talent. They work hard to achieve what they want. They train hard to become great artists. GD & YB even trained at YG for 6 years already. those hardworkings are really worth it! And I love the Korean mindset. You make a mistake, you pay for it. In Canada, no one takes pride in their work. But in Korea, you have to work hard, or you won't get anywhere.

Dang.... The life of Korean singers is really harsh. Working so hard every day, shedding blood, sweat and tears for such a long period of time; then in the end, realizing you could be thrown out. It's really either you make it or break it. I think this really makes people have second thoughts about going into Korea's entertainment industry. Big Bang went through so much and it's really great to see all that hard work being paid off. Just look at where they stand now! :)

I have too much respect for Korean artists. They endure a lot to make it to the top. American artists have it so easy; they can commit crimes, swear in public, have crazy demands and westerners still worship them like gods. But Asian artists do one thing bad and it can ruin them forever. They're well disciplined and know that hard work gets you far. You know they weren't born in to riches, but worked hard to become successful. Big Bang endured a lot but look where they are today. Love Big Bang!
@zuruzuru23 i agree that American artists get away with a lot of stuff but that doesnt mean they didnt work hard to get where they are. at least in Korea their artists can get training and have a better chance at succeeding but in America success in the industry is based on hard work and luck. many American artists have been discovered at random places working towards their dreams. so i have to say i have respect for all artists because its not easy to be successful in the industry any where.

YGS is hella scary. the part where he "scolded" Jiyong and Youngbae, especially Youngbae. as much as i love all of BB, i have to admit that Jiyong is still the most hardworking and talented.
when you look at videos now, you see that big bang are quite comfortable around the yg ceo-- and it seems that he comes to see them very often too. i guess it just took more time for the guys to be comfortable, especially because at that time they were all still trainees...
and im pretty sure the harshness that bb went through, is similar to what all the other groups went through. i think i may have new found respect for rookie groups who survive and debut...

I hate to see them get scolded or get hurt but if they didn't go through all these hardships and harsh words there wouldn't be the BIGBANG that we love and cherish right now.

what i like about yg is that they train their artists in hope that they can be successful.All the other 2 big companies have been in court for artists who say they are slaves to their company.This is why YG IS family :)

I feel bad for them but i'm glad that they got through that. @caulimay needs to set the expectation high to get them motivated. nothing should be handed over so easily, i think the ceo was right in telling them what is needed to be done. after all, if you really want to be great performers you need the practice and sweats and put more work into it

I have too much respect for Korean artists. They endure a lot to make it to the top. American artists have it so easy; they can commit crimes, swear in public, have crazy demands and westerners still worship them like gods. But Asian artists do one thing bad and it can ruin them forever. They're well disciplined and know that hard work gets you far. You know they weren't born in to riches, but worked hard to become successful. Big Bang endured a lot but look where they are today. Love Big Bang!

@zuruzuru23 i agree that American artists get away with a lot of stuff but that doesnt mean they didnt work hard to get where they are. at least in Korea their artists can get training and have a better chance at succeeding but in America success in the industry is based on hard work and luck. many American artists have been discovered at random places working towards their dreams. so i have to say i have respect for all artists because its not easy to be successful in the industry any where.

@zuruzuru23 i agree with you.. in our country,if you're pretty or handsome,regardless of your talent, you can easily make way for stardom.. sometimes, artist are put on the spot without having being trained,unlike in korea and japan, they train for years and if they got lucky,they can debut as an artist..

I say that's torture to the victims, and not so easy don't you think? Sadly they all grow up that way and that's how Americans see their society. I'm sure in Korea (Asia in general) they don't see that kind of things often. So that's why if they do the slightest thing wrong their reputation is damaged, and yes.. BIG BANG IS THE BEST!

when you look at videos now, you see that big bang are quite comfortable around the yg ceo-- and it seems that he comes to see them very often too. i guess it just took more time for the guys to be comfortable, especially because at that time they were all still trainees...
and im pretty sure the harshness that bb went through, is similar to what all the other groups went through. i think i may have new found respect for rookie groups who survive and debut...
