Thanks a lot! I'm not sure exactly who made my viola. I know that it is a factory student model viola made in Germany around 1950. It's not that special or exciting, but I like it. It's good quality for something that is considered to be a "student" instrument.
@Bratschenmeister if your viola was made and in 1950 in Germany and listening to the tone it sounds like a Roth viola. i have a Roth and it also gets that rich, deep, and beautiful sound that you got. VERY good sound and tone. =)
