That IS Scottish culture, the Irish lost their culture after Pope Adrian IV sold the island to Henry II of England in return that they adopted state Romanist Catholic Popery.
It was only in the 19th century with the Gaelic revival of 1890~1921 that the Irish tried to reverse that and re-invent themselves based on Scottish traditional culture to give Ireland a kind of pedigree that it never had.

@jarsonist Gaelic is merely a language system, not a culture.
The Irish should stop ripping of Scottish stuff like Bagpipes, Pipes bands and Tartans and finish developing their latest rip off culture from the 21st century of Gold seeking, shoe pointed, flute playing, stew chewin', ginger bearded, freckled faced Leprechauns.
