  • 1:54 --John's face! I'm in love, but will be having nightmares for the rest of my life.

    Oh, and..... good morning!

  • This performance seems more believable than the MP one. IMHO

  • I prefer the MP one..

  • I agree.

  • Monty Python's way better!

  • I prefer the MP version, but maybe it's just because I knew what was going to happen in this one

  • There's a clear line from here, through MP's Silly Job interview to Mitchell and Webb's extreme negative feedback.

  • I think the Python version could have been better if Chapman called Cleese all those names. He was very good at abuse.

I did like the bell in the Python version better, but this version was very good.

  • I love John's facial expression at 1:54! He does the best expressions I think.

  • Good to see they've improved a lot since the first version :D

  • i think tim brooke-taylor doesnt seem as natural as Graham Chapman

  • They just have different acting styles.

  • I want to do this so very fricking badly!!!!

  • Its from the silly job interview, whit Graham Chapman! But still brilliant!

  • Damn, Tim Brooke-Taylor!!! Took me a while to recognize him! He's better than GC here, but Cleese was better in the Monty Python version.

  • That was FAN-TAS-TIC!

  • so this is the same as "Silly Job Interview" but with that short guy instead of the guy who played Brian in Life of Brian

  • oh the original was SOOO much better...

  • @ ThingsWeSaidToday

This IS the original, Monty Python formed after this show.

  • you are absolutely right Shadowhog (gimf!)

i still prefer the python version. i dunno if it's loyalty to the first version I saw, or the brilliance of Graham Chapman... anyways, brilliant sketch all around!

  • LOL, I hear that sometimes job interviews are ALMOST as bizarre as this. XD

  • Monty Python's version is more polished, although I think Graham borrowed some things from this guy.

  • Well, this is closer to the orignal on the 1948 show; I think.

  • goooooooood niiiiiiiighhhhhhhhhhhht.

    lol.

  • they did this exact same sketch again later on with john and graham

  • I think John Cleese was better in the Graham Chapman version, but Tim is hilarious

  • I love his head movements when Clesse counts down :-)

  • They did this sketch on Python!!! i still love it!!! they had a better bell tho....

me and my dad do this whole sketch!! :)

  • 2:55 OMG HE LOOKS LIKE A ZOMBIE

  • funny!

    they r gr8

  • This actually is the original. It was made before the python version. But the python version with graham is still better.

  • I like this version: the poor guy being interviewed is such a scared little mouse.

  • the silly interview original was WAY better

  • Hm, the original was better. Chapman's reactions to clease shouting the countdown were priceless :D

  • That was great!!!!!

  • I think the other version is better. The bell worked better even. :P

  • I just about memorized this when I was younger . . .

  • He was so good looking back then...

  • Ey! Tim from The Goodies! They're also good.

  • I love this version!!!

  • It was much wierder in Python. It was also better because it had Graham.

  • John Cleese has such an evil grin!!

  • He really does... I think it's kind of sexy...

  • Yeah . . .

He's great at being the Aggravating Bureaucrat, too . . .

  • Yeah, the Flying Circus version was better, but this one never gets old.

  • I prefer this version: poor guy looks so mousy and lost . . .

  • they did it much better later in monty python, but still funny.
